Since when have the remington extractors been deemed unreliable? Is it worth it? I figure its better and more reliable than the standard riveted in extractor. LRI offers a dual extractor service, its that necessary to work with an m16 extractor? I know it breaks the 3 rings of steel concept, should that be a concern?
Not for Tac Ops Builds...@MikeRTacOps why did the M16-style extractor become the sweetheart of the rifle build? Seems like whenever somebody starts talking about renovating a R700 they throw that in like butter on bread.

People think is a better mousetrap but in my professional opinion it is not. The factory Remington extractor works simply fine. If the factory one fails, you can pop another one in within 5 seconds in the field. If the claw on the M16 style fractures which I've seen them happen to operators during POST Certified Sniper Schools you’re bumming.

I don't think an M16 extractor performs any better than a Remington. If you give consideration to ejection angle, it doesn't perform as well.So an FAA “prevent things from going bad” approach instead of a drag strip “performance at all costs” approach? Makes sense for your users’ use cases.
