You are dead to me.You don't put a Chevrolet motor in an Oldsmobile. You put Chevrolet in mustangs and Chevys.
WHat drillship you on? Im on the West NeptuneA hard hat laying on top of a piston in a 14 cyl MAN/STX. This on a drillship. We had 6x 18-cylinder Wartsilas on another rig I worked on and several jackups through the years had 12 cyl EMDs.
Whoever thinks that is a big bore has never worked on marine diesels, I worked on 28 liter Cummins and in the marine diesel world they were considered small.

They still make a 302, but now it's called the 5.0 - the Coyote engine (yes, 2012 to present). They put it in the Mustang and with a different tune in the F-150.I do not, not yet.
In 25 years, I have only ever owned trucks. Ford should have never stopped making the 302. But it came back in 2012, if memory serves. I had one in a 1971 F-100.
Dont they do it with a flat plane crank? They still make a 302, but now it's called the 5.0 - the Coyote engine (yes, 2012 to present). They put it in the Mustang and with a different tune in the F-150.
It's an absolute party (regardless of what the LS guys tell you) and it has a soundtrack to match.
The flat-plane crank is in the 5.2, which is the engine that got all the attention in the GT-350 (now discontinued).Dont they do it with a flat plane crank?

That engine, the 5.2L Voodoo, only went into the Mustang GT350.Dont they do it with a flat plane crank?
