I can hear people conversing two blocks away with my Sordins.........You could put me (and my Sordins) in that guy's place and I'd be able to hear everything loud and clear. Oh, and did I mention that I love my Sordins ?

I realize that computers can be diddled around to show whatever you want them to show and I damn sure am not savvy enough to know how to do it, but others are.

Not only that, but with the 'directional' mic's it is actually better. For all the 'people' (and I use that term loosely) whom constantly natter, blather, comment, and open loud candy-wrappers while a speaker is at the lectern, that type of ear-pro actually HELPS you hear what is supposed to be heard, while blocking out the blathering of the rude folk.
