    Range Report Twist for Hornady 225 BTHP

    Will a 11.27" twist 300wm stablize these new bullets or should I get a 1-10" twist. I shoot at 1500 - 2000ft altitude but sometimes in -30 weather. If I did not already have a 11.27 twist blank sitting here I would not be asking this question.

    Re: what are these marks in my bore? That happens if you cutting the crown and do not remove the metal cuttings that end up in the barrel. they tubble and slide around in there while the barrel is turning and scratch it.
