Looking for guys who are running this bullet and experience with it.

What is the bc you guys are using?
Kestrel doesn't have it in bullet profile yet so are you using the 245 eol? Or just custom g7 ect?

How easy is this bullet to tune I've heard a few guys say it's harder than the 220 which is a dream to get to shoot straight.

I shoot the 220 but thinking on trying some 245 in 300 norma improved.

Better have at least an 8.5 twist for the 245..you should try the 230 A-tips

Yeah I have 2 8 twist barrels. My dad runs the 230 a-tips but not hard. I'm sticking to berger So I don't get the famous poof of hornady

we run the custom curve in ab

I'm using the g7 bc. Ended up at .02 jump, no problems getting it tuned. Really like it, took it out to 2200 not long ago. Stocked up on them.

I did email AB about getting the custom curve in there.

I emailed them but nothing back yet. Been a few days. What g7 stock from AB? .433

Right at 3030 fps out of a 30" barrel.

I think I backed that load off to 87 grains for the 3030.

Nice pretty good velocity. I'm going to order some but I use n565. I have a 35 degree improved

Finally been shooting the 245 lrht glad I tried then. AB has them in kestrel now and with the CC my drops are dead on out to 2k. The bc they have is .436

Me and 3 friends are all shooting 245 lrht with n570 and 86.7 is damn good in all 4 300nm AI rifles. Sd of 7ish +- @ 2980, and same hole at 100.

We went to 1 mile last week and going to 1.5 miles tomorrow. Shoot way better than the 225 eld we were using.

This was 3 rifles and 4 shooters today in some stupid headwind that was switching and gusting, but the 245s did great out to 2230 yards. All 3 were shooting 86.7gr n570.

The 245s were still denting the 3/16" AR400 plate at 1535 yards!!!

I ended up having to make an adjustment on the bc and change it to .417 from the custom curve.

Does .425 G7 for the 245 EOL sound correct? Is the only diff between them and the LRHT the pointed meplats?

I'm not sure on the eol I thought most were around .406 ish but not 100%

The 245 lrht I had to lower to .417
