Because men who are self confident are more successful in their ventures, think logically and reasonably, see the value, assurance, and security that comes with owning guns, and are more likely to be responsible gun owners. The psychos who commit gun crimes that the libtards LOVE to cite as the reason for their hoplophobia on the other hand, only acquire guns as a means to mayhem. There have been over 10 attempted and foiled mass shootings in the past 2 months and ALL of the would be lonewackos are trannies who have had histories of making violent and suicidal threats online and in real life, AKA mentally ill "men", not gun owners...

Being mad over stolen valor......LOL!!!! Honestly, explain why it matters? I always struggle with understanding this.

If somebody sat in an office next to me and claimed to be an expert in my field. Ok......cool, I have some work for you. I dont give a fuck!

They can explain it to you better than I can; they're still there near Omaha Beach waiting for your question.

I can see where you’re coming from. I guess it’s like men claiming to be women. It doesn’t necessarily anger me; I just hope they’ll get the help they so desperately need.

Probably because anyone can man an office.

In 2013, stolen valor rules came back, this time with a new caveat: The lies in question must result in some kind of tangible benefit before they can be considered legally problematic. This helps focus legislative language on fraudulent activity that isn't protected under the First Amendment.

(Initialy stolen valor act ruled as infringing 1st Amendment rights.)

I won't clog this thread, but you know there a tons of men that have died doing their jobs for family, friends, loved ones and/or for a better country, right? The same media putting "hero" labels on those men, are the same putting "hero" labels on trans people. Try eating without farmers, gun makers, knife makers, lighter makers, oven makers, pot/pan makers, spoon makers, fork makers, see how important the illusion of freedom is without those things. Hell, for some of you, let me know how important the illusion of freedom is without Lisinopril or Insulin makers. Again, who really cares? They can live in their own delusions. I can find a lot of things to get mad about TODAY rather than someone claiming to be something they aren't. Maybe someone wants to be upset, certainly not me! One of those headstones belongs to my grandfather, and I still don't care!

Man, I know that multiple dudes have already responded to you, so I'm not trying to dog pile.

It hits different when you lose close friends, or junior service members who worked directly for you. Having to make a phone call home a few days later (CACO does in-person notification first) to talk to grieving parents fucking sucks... Nevermind that you're still in country and have 4 more months of daily shit to go through.

Or, you can get stuck on CACO duty, and get to escort the chaplain to someone's doorstep. Even if it is something like 'your kid is going to live, but he got his face blown off and will never be the same...whenever he regains consciousness, we'll have him call you...if he can speak'.

It's not that some fag is able to offend (some of us) by wearing the same - or even superior - pieces of ribbon or metal on a make-believe uniform. It is because that fag is claiming to be a hero of a situation where he/she didn't have the balls to participate...and then further tries to redirect the glory that the sacrificed have earned - back towards themselves..

If someones never BTDT (which is perfectly fine), then I don't expect them to share the same sentiment as someone else who has. From my perspective, it isn't the shooting of guns overseas that hardens you towards stolen valor fucks. It is having to cut open one of your boys footlockers to inventory his stuff - because he'll never take it home.

Just an observation, not an accusation man.

Absolutely true. So, I'll exercise my 1st Amendment by taking a picture of them and their vehicle to post on the Internet so everyone can judge for themselves their integrity. I won't be earning any tangible benefit from such an act.

Had some time to kill after work yesterday so I took a drive.

Ended up at Mt Baldy, then took the Glendora Ridge Road back toward the hotel.

California is a truly beautiful place once you step outside the concrete jungles.

The top pic was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. The pic can’t touch the actual view.

Great pic @nockhunter Good use of lighting and symmetry in the layout; plus the hard lines of light and shadow to emphasize the soft curves of the subject.

This one’s almost the inverse of that top picture, lighting-wise anyway; with more emphasis on the subject while softening the angles of the lighting with that focus on the model:

I'm guessing you never had the guy in the office next to you die in your lap with final words calling to his mother to help him. Also guessing you never accompanied a casket back home of the guy in the office next to you. Apples and oranges my guy.
