Ingenuity Precision trickler

When I checked in early May for a release timeframe I was told July. Checked again yesterday and was told late August…🤔
I emailed him on June 5th to ask, reply is quoted below:

“Current estimate is July/Aug release if you ordered before 3-1 . If post then late summer/ fall. This is a brand new product being released for the first time and is exactly why it had a zero money down wait list and estimated eta. Good things take time and the first batch of a product is the hardest. Sorry for the wait but I promise it's worth it!”

I get the zero money down and I do not care if it takes until next year. Like I said before a simple Facebook or on his product page a simple hey we are running behind expect some delays and xy date I am giving may change. It would probably cut his emails in half if not more. I know it would be easier than wasting time answering emails.

Just based on my experience with other things with similar issues, I would guess that the issue is more of this type of thing....

"I have a timeline on the remaining items that need to come in/be made, to complete a decent number of complete systems..... but I'm not confident that those time lines will in fact be honored by my supplier/manufacturers. As a result of this, I don't want to give out any further timelines, or updates, though my expectation is that the whole units will be completed relatively soon"

Or something to that effect.

Parts are coming in and being made.

It was to get you to stop bitching. 🤣🤣
No no no. I'm an expert at identifying AI developed media and you Okies have stepped up your game, many here are fooled. See here's the deal, I'm not ready for this thread to die, I need my daily laugh from those impatiently waiting. So I'm calling all members, let's ramp up the request inquiring on updates/pics to be posted here, Facebook, X, can we get Only fans added.?. Also is it too much to ask for a new YouTube video?

Do you want content or an actual product you can purchase? As more production pieces come in I’ll share more photos and maybe even a video. Paul is working hard to get this out so updates from him have taken a back seat for now.

My order was the second week of December.
LOL... mine was a month ago. I believe I'll see it right before the next millennium haha

More seriously, I'm running a MatchMaster now and frankly don't even want to consider jumping in the AT v4 or ST (well, def not ST) rabbit hole. I'll just bide my time and by the time my unit is ready for purchase there should be a lot of feedback on it.

Frankly, I really sort of like the fella's implementation where he used a manual for bulk drop and an IP trickler. If IP ever did a nice integration and shrink wrap of this I'd probably go for it. Simple and reliable for bulk and accurate for trickling.

I have a V3 I'll sell after I vet the IP thrower.

I've had a manual thrower mounted next to the V3 since day one. I would not forgo the AT for the manual thrower unless money was absolutely an issue.

Yeah the AT thrower/ dropper works pretty good so I definitely wouldn't go manual + IP unless it was a money issue. The AT+IP is a fantastic set up and makes loading a lot easier. You don't have to worry about anything. Don't get me wrong, I have been in line for the new IP system from the get go and an sure it will be awesome but I will likely just keep my AT as a back up or maybe a separate set up down the road.

I'd have picked up a V3 by now if I were luckier... when they pop up they go quick, money isn't the issue lol. Looks like no need to now...

I bet you still will not see them ship next month.

I'm probably one of the few who doesn't care when they ship as much as I do about them being right. I'm pretty happy with the system I've been using dropping the bulk charge manually and letting the trickler do its magic. The automatic bulk dropper will just make life even better, though honestly, I'm still on the fence about whether or not I actually need it when the system I've been using is already fast and idiot-proof.

I do not care when it ships either I have a good setup. Actually 2 really nice setups for throwing powder. I was just making a comment about you saying you did not need to worry about it now. Sorry was just making a comment about it.

Couple of questions for you if you dont mind.

Do you work for Paul? Are you the new marketing person that we can address questions to?

Looks like the hopper got redesigned. Is that 3d printed plastic, glass, molded plastic of some sort, etc? Any idea how much it holds?

Thanks for any info you can provide.
I don’t work for Paul and not doing marketing for him. Just sharing some photos for you guys. Hopper has been redesigned to a 3d printed one that will screw into the funnel. The acrylic hopper has to be glued in. This causes a couple issues when it comes to packaging and assembly. With a screw in hopper not only is it easy to replace should it break but packaging is also more flexible in layout.

It also holds a just over a 1lb.

Any chance it uses the same thread as a 1lb powder bottle like some other manual throwers do?

Whoa that’d be smart
Paul and I both think it’s a dumb idea. I’m not sure why you would want to limit yourself to a 1lb container you have to screw on and can’t see how much is in there. Most people buying this product will use more than a pound of powder at a time reloading.

That said if there was demand an adapter could be made.

Yea I get it 100%. Makes sense. I will most definitely be using more than a pound to load several hundred rounds. At this point in nearly 20 years of reloading I buy things for the convenience of saving time and this does for sure

I agree that using the black, opaque 1# bottle that the powder came in isn't a great idea, and since different powder brands have bottles with different cap diameters & threads that's not really a practical option.

I have no issues with a proprietary bottle provided it's reasonable in cost to replace like the larger Nalgene bottles my Harrell's thrower uses. At some point it's probably going to get really stained and cloudy and you'll want to replace it. The Nalgene bottles work great, are cheap, are translucent so you can see the powder level, and resist staining if you accidentally forget powder in there for a few days. I cut the entire bottom off the Nalgene bottle on my Harrell's and use a large snug fitting rubber cap, makes it very easy to empty and top off. I do like how Paul's bottle has a threaded cap.

I keep forgetting to preorder one of these things, lol. At this point I'm going to wait until the first wave is out there and use reports start coming in. I know Paul is being very thorough on testing these but if there's one thing I learned doing product development, Murphy must have his satisfaction which means no matter how comprehensive you think your test program is the end user will always find some situation or use case that you didn't anticipate and contact you with an issue, lol. Hopefully if that happens it's something that can be remedied with a firmware update and not require a design/hardware change.

How tall is the over all set up from the bottom of the scale to the top of the hopper lid? Thanks man,
