questions, whats the speed of the (probably getting the terminology wrong) hammer dropping, ejecting the round, reloading and hammer dropping again, how fast can that happen between rounds? full auto different to semi auto speed? has anyone talked about this yet?
 
It's fine to admit you either made a mistake, or just don't know what you're talking about. I'm sure there is something else you're an expert on.

I'm a Sr. Linux systems engineer working in HFT and ULL.

I’m trying my best to believe there was only one shooter, and still do. But here’s a take I hadn’t heard. Apparently Kim Cheatle was wrong again when she claimed the CS team was inside the building he was on, they weren’t. It was the adjacent building, with the second floor window open (makes sense) but they would have heard the people right outside their window?

Attention CBC, NBC, CNN, ABC, MSN: 2nd shooter (the Deep State Sniper in open window on 2nd floor, see post above) took ONE SHOT two shots - one to hit Trump and one too silence Crooks.
First one to pick this up WINS.

Looking at picture above, he crawled the length of the roof in front of the 2nd floor break room window?
Or climbed up the tall ladder (which wasn't in place until after the shooting, maybe)?

That is if the really found a drone in the "Ve-hi-cle".
Article says the Sonata, not the van or U-Haul.
I have a few Hubsan, non-cellular drones that don't have built in restrictions.

It's Jerry M out running a fully automatic m4/16.

ROF is max 800 on a brace btw. No idea on frt. 900 on a auto m4.

He does play a video from the crowd which captured the first string of shots, the first 3 does sound suppressed or from a greater distance (from that video clip @ 17:34), but I am by no means an expert.

I’m just having a hard time believing that a 20 year old kid didn’t have an online presence

I'm watching this and I'm sitting here thinking about all of the crap that was missed. Absolutely amazing that the media outlets position the body in the wrong position with respect to the roof. It's as if they had that footage ahead of time, and it always bothered me as to why that drawing/image showed crooks in the wrong spot on the roof. Just didn't jive with live camera shots and video footage taken by folks on the ground.

Now you add the water tower and 2nd floor window angle, and it soon becomes apparent that things are not what they want you to believe.

It will be interesting how the .gov will dick with forensics to make a real fake of the whole thing. I really doubt these dei assholes can pull it off.

Imagine how this would have gone down if all of those cameras weren't recording in real time.

This is of course an area that they were NOT assigned to protect.

The details the FBI are leaking, essentially a narrative they are intentionally constructing every day, is essentially trying to give the appearance of gross incompetence as an explanation for what happened.

We appear to be watching the FBI create and sell a ‘mistakes were made’ narrative every day.

I’m not sure the public is buying it.
 
How many here could GoogleMaps the area, walk around the grounds staying away from check points and MAP out where everything is?

.gov doesn't like citizens having drones.
.gov doesn't like DJI and Chinese data collection from flight data.

I also like how the Range Finder was identified as a GOLF device and not a Ballistic Range Finder.
(I bet some didn't even know that range finding for shooting was a thing).
 
So the USSS shot was “one-in-a-million” due to an “obstructed view” of the shooter. I guess it was the roof slope and the shooter had VERY little sky-lining.

So a 20yr old snaps off a few rounds, gets a hit (not a kill shot)…..and EVERYONE is saying he wasn’t the best shot or didn’t know what he was doing????? I’ll add to it they are saying he was RUSHED to shoot as the LEO spotted him, the shooter pointed the rifle at the LEO (by LEO admission).

Man….talk about dodging a bullet. We just can’t see HOW close this was to a REALLY bad election cycle for the USA.

How different is a Golf device for ranging different than a shooting/ballistic range finder. Okay…sure I can program in some bullet comp data. If all I want is the target range…..both devices would still do the same thing right??

I have a feeling that being "kicked off" the high school shooting team was NOT because being a bad shot (wouldn't you work with someone to help them) but because some "attitude" issue. Bad shot was an excuse.

This "depressive disorder" was probably diagnosed and the parents knew about it.
Thus the "Oh shit" can't find my boy and one of my AR's.

This! Is the most disturbing part of the whole thing for me.

Not that anyone can't make a conscious effort to keep their electronic foot print small but that this 20 year old kid would have the presence of mind to do it and would have to have been doing it his whole life to have virtually no footprint at all.

All the 2nd shooter, 3rd team, water tower, wind, ladder and other chatter is just noise distracting people from the things that matter.

It depends on the device. Some are laser like the ones you linked but some give a range based on the height of a standard hole flag similar to optics with reticles that give you a distance estimate based on the height of an animal.

But to your point, for the laser ones there is virtually no practical difference.
