I mean you can do what ever you want just never heard anyone using a bore guide when the barrel is pulled. Thought maybe you used it to the rod centered when it's chucked into the 7axis Dremel
I never add any on my AI swappables.Another question… pretty sure there’s no anti seize on my axsr bbls. All my other actions use it. Should I add a little?
I had to look back in my conversations but yes that is correct

The cool thing about @pfl338 ’s bore guides, which are used when the barrel is off (as opposed to Possum Hollow guides), is they have a solvent port built in.I mean you can do what ever you want just never heard anyone using a bore guide when the barrel is pulled. Mine don’t have holes. I was probably one of the first to try them. Bought a couple and he sent me a couple to try for freeThe cool thing about @pfl338 ’s bore guides, which are used when the barrel is off (as opposed to Possum Hollow guides), is they have a solvent port built in.

Cool to me, anyways.
This way I don’t make a mess as I stuff my patch into the hole…no liquid squeezes out…onto thebedfloor…uhhhh
We had a visitor at the Quantico Shooting Club last evening.
Question fellas…I ordered my barrel a little thick and now I’m worried about negative effects. It’s not touching the hand guard but it will with little effort. How much might this affect accuracy?
What's the contour? I ask because I just placed an order for 1.350 to 1.250 at 28".Question fellas…I ordered my barrel a little thick and now I’m worried about negative effects. It’s not touching the hand guard but it will with little effort. How much might this affect accuracy?
Nothing the 6axis Dremel won’t fix!Question fellas…I ordered my barrel a little thick and now I’m worried about negative effects. It’s not touching the hand guard but it will with little effort. How much might this affect accuracy?
It is 1.35 for 5 then a straight taper to 1.15 at 34”What's the contour? I ask because I just placed an order for 1.350 to 1.250 at 28".
Have you rested the rifle on bipods or tripod and applied pressure? Im no no barrel doctor, but I imagine it will make contact, because of the thickness I'm not sure how much pressure will make an effect.
1.5 will clear if your action and clip on rail are the same height This is 1.5” with a 5-27x56 and there’s room for aadland scope caps.Does anyone know if a 7-35x56 atacr in 1.5" rings will clear the nv rail on this? I have the high mount. It looks like it would be really close.
Pic thread.

It doesn’t touch with it sitting on a bipod but if I put any additional load on it I can here it tap
Still in stock. Ordered 2 of them. Definitely call when ordering as they work a better deal then what’s online
I’ll try them in my 22 atx and 14 AT when they arrive. Ones going to be converted to a WSM bolt. The other I plan to use as a SFP bolt for my 2014 AT

Accuracy International Bolt Assembly Complete 308 Win including bolt/shroud assembly with 1.6mm firing pin. MPN 26547BL | Only at EuroOptic.com!www.eurooptic.com
Did you ask for the complete bolt above? Or just for the bolt? The bolt alone would be without the firing pin assemblyI called and they said they didn't have any for an at...
Ask about SKU 26547BL-AII asked for "complete bolt assembly for an at"
Damn you for helping me spend more of my money, lol.
I mentioned to the guy at euro optic that a guy told me he would work a deal and he gave me the same deal as you.
I ordered 2. There are 8 left, so if you want it, go for it.
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong,It will work in an at correct?
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong,
All short action AI’s use the same action. The chassis is what’s different
The early bolts 2014 and earlier had large firing pins. In 2015 models they swapped to small firing pins.
This bolt is a small firing pin complete bolt. It fits the AT, AX and ATX actions.
Mile high also has complete bolt bodies which fit the AT, AX and ATX. Euro has the firing pin assembly which is listed for AX but fits AT, AX and ATX bolts
Both also have the 1.6mm firing pins which are the SFP pins that only work in the SFP bolts and fit AT, AX and ATX
Again correct me if I’m wrong but that’s my understanding. Hell maybe this bolt only fits the AX haha. Then I’ll have to buy one of those to
Awesome thank you for clarification. My 2014 AT is a 6 lug LFP bolt and predates the 6 lug SFP bolts of 2015You're close, however, when the AT was introduced the number of lugs on the bolt changed from 3 to 6 lugs.
Given that these bolts won't work in the AW, AE, or pre-2014 AXSA rifles.
These bolts *CAN* be used to upgrade an early AT rifle from having a LFP to a SFP bolt assembly.
Awesome thank you for clarification. My 2014 AT is a 6 lug LFP bolt and predates the 6 lug SFP bolts of 2015
My 22 ATX is a SFP 6 lug
Both bolts fit both guns excellent and only difference is the fluting on the 22 bolt
I’m assuming the bolts above (the 2 I ordered) are the same bolts as what’s in my 2022 ATX
Hoping both work in either rifle. We’ll see this week I suppose
I actually would like to know the answer to this as well, for academic purposes.Just out of interest, if my AW bolt fails some day in the very far future, am i f*cked? Do they still produce bolts for the AW? I assume not?

Why are you guys feeling the need to buy 2 spare bolt assemblies? Even if you have 2 rifles it seems unlikely you'd have both go down at the same time and not be able to get one repaired/replaced by AI

Suddenly we've gone from "most reliable rifle in the world! 100k rounds of 308 through a 1997 AW!" to "I need 3 bolt assemblies to feel safe shooting 2000 rounds of 6 GT per year
SnipersHide is slowly becoming fudd central. Turning into the AR15.com of the bolt gun world. It's the dichotomy of SH.
In one recent thread I participated in I was told that everyone should have an AI because of its robustness and its ability to withstand a 2-story drop test. Contrast that with another recent thread in which people stated you should remove your scope when removing a barrel, because a 2 foot fall will kill your ZCO.
Entertaining.
