Was the real Sage Green just the Elite Sand we met along the way? I'll be interested to take these out into the sun tomorrow to try and see more of a difference.

@FUNCTIONAL feel free to Poortex shame me.
If you want to join my Red / Green Color Deficient Vision Club let me know.

The main benefit is that all of these different AI colors look the same so it lowers your FOMO level and therefore fattens your wallet.

But wouldn't that cause you to have to get more rifles?

Stan: *reaches in safe* "Hey, I'm going to shoot the brown AXSA today!"
Wife: *shakes head*
Stan: *slowly puts the rifle back, and places his hand on the next one while his wife is watching, waiting for her to nod*.

Ya know the longer I live on this earth the more the urge to buy a clip on intensifies.
The used ones in px are a friggin steal

I mostly shot without it since the steel was invisible today. I was hoping the sun would hit the targets enough to warm them but no luck. I did hit the IPSC with the thermal by holding off from a tree almost like shooting en defilade

That's wildly cheap. Interested to see how well it performs.
I am definitely interested too. Although that's the same price of used or like new Impact4000 and Scott + Vortex team have been super supportive of the units and the Hide.

The name seems like a bit of a knock off from the Vortex as does the rough design. But if the foot print is smaller, it's durable, and has similar ranging capabilities with a street price of close to a grand, that's gonna be hard to beat. but again, Vortex warranty owns all.

Meant NV.... but that c35 is tempting at 2k lol

So I finally did it. Decided to get an ax338 instead of the axmc( didn’t need the short action capability ) only think I kinda want from the axmc is the butt stock. Anyone done this swap? Looking at the parts it looks like it should be just like the AT to AT LE swap

Does it have the HK-hook sling attachment like this?

If so, it's possible to do the swap but it's going to be a lot more work. You can take the skins off to confirm, but the "old" style of bonded buttstock used a bonded pin, rather than the flat head screws of the most recent generation.

Here's more info, good luck https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/at-folder-onto-an-older-aics-or-ae-1-5.6989495/

It's not as easy as just swapping over from what I was told at Mile High. I was in the same situation, but sold off the AX338 and got the MC instead.

I am getting the itch again for an AT again. My home range (Brocks Gap in Alabama) is opening a 1500y range at the new location and would justify the use of a bolt rifle. Surprisingly few used ATs on the market.

Logically I know I could just get a Howa, Solus, etc. but I know how nice an AT is now formerly having one. Once the AI itch infects the mind, its hard to logically see other rifles.

There are several AXSAs listed but this at it reasonable.

Having owned an AT, AX, and ATX, and with what used AT's are going for, I would be more inclined to get an ATX, than an AT, unless you absolutely have to have a thumbhole.

Thumbhole is AI master race!

The AT will likely keep going up in price. The ATX will either stay lower where it’s been or climb up a bit. Really depends on the reviews coming out of the new ATXC platform

So far from what I’ve seen on the ATXC thread it doesn’t sound like much of an improvement over a decked out Gen 3 ATX
