Show off your Manners PRS-TCS Stocks

I ordered my 3rd TCS in high gloss metallic black and blue like yours, then changed my mind a day later and switched it to high gloss metallic moola after seeing a TCS in the PX in that color scheme and really liking it, and now that I'm looking at your high gloss metallic black and blue TCS I'm wondering if I should email Manners yet again and switch the order back to metallic black and blue, lol

I'm really happy the way the Black and Blue Metallic turned out in Hi-Gloss(y)

Real happy with my black and blue also. Just got it today and dropped my 6 Creed in there.

Big thanks to Tom @tmanners and Matt at Manners. You guys make some great products!

I agree, your stock looks great.

Looks like I'm sticking with high gloss metallic moola though. Emailed manners this weekend to change my order back to high gloss metallic black and blue, and they emailed back this morning. With my last TCS taking 8 months to get I figured I still had plenty of time to change the order since I placed this order only 2 months ago... not this time, just my luck my stock has already been laid up because of how the production schedule worked out.

They offered to make a new one in metallic black and blue but I'm not going to be "that customer" that has them remake something just because I changed my mind part way through the process. I'll be perfectly happy with high gloss metallic moola.

Maybe this is a sign I need to order TCS #4 in high gloss metallic black and blue and build something new to drop into it, lol

High gloss metallica moola is amazing looking, especially if you ask for more paint.

Hey what’s the weight of that setup? I was thinking of a PRS/TCS setup but wasn’t sure I would get to the weight I want to run. So I was leaning towards maybe Foundation

That’s 20.5lbs no bipod with 2 weights in the rail, 1 rear weight and a sikes clutch rail on the left side. Could easily get it heavier with either full weights in the rail or a weighted rail from 360 precision.
Manners also has a block weight you can call and order and a new steel rail coming out soon.

Interesting Manners is bringing out a new steel rail, but not surprising because people weren't happy when they stopped offering their original steel rail.

My older TCS has the manners steel rail, but for my second newer TCS manners only offered an aluminum rail so I bought the 360 precision steel rail.

My 3rd TCS that is on order was only offered with the aluminum rail, so I planned on buying another 360 steel rail. Hopefully the bolt pattern in the new manners steel rail is the same as the Gen 2 aluminum rails and current 360 precision steel rails. My earlier TCS with the manners steel rail has a different bolt spacing than my later TCS with the newer version manners aluminum rail and the 360 steel rail, they're not interchangable without drilling new holes in the stock and bonding in new inserts.

Edit: just emailed manners to see if the new steel rail uses the same bolt pattern as the current production aluminum rails and if there's an approximate availability date for the new steel rails. I'll report back when they reply...

Manners got back to me, they say the new steel rails should be available in about 2-3 weeks and will use the same bolt spacing as the current aluminum rails.

They said they'd post info on them soon.

Gonna be like 4lbs. Or sure when it’ll be out. What barrel profile do you have? And what weight do you want to be at?

I run Proof SS prefits with their Comp contour, and I’m using no rear weights, a fat pig Razor Gen3, the OG Manners steel rail with all the weights installed (weighs ~3.5lbs IIRC), and my gun is ~22lb.

Ideally, I’d like another pound or 2 out front to get the balance point more forward… but I’m not willing to switch from ~$450-500 prefits to $900+ custom barrels to make that happen, so it sounds like switching stocks/chassis is in my future…

Call them and ask about their new TCS front weight. It bolts right in to their Arca rail. Adds a little over 1lb to the front.

Thanks, but new front weight thingy is for the newer aluminum rail (which doesn’t weigh half of what the OG steel rail I have does).

I still might give them a call though…

Oh dang I was hoping their mention was going to be made of stainless. That's sort of what it sounded like.

The new front weight will fit their new Max Steel rail and the current aluminum setup. I guess Max rail will be out in a few weeks. I know it’ll be 4lbs without the front weight and 5lbs with the front weight so it’ll be significant.

Thanks for the heads up! If I can get +1.5lbs more out front, I can keep running the TCS (which would be great, I hate changing shit if I don’t need to). I’m waiting on Manners to call me back so I can get the skinny…

I was thinking I could just duct tape a full diet Coors or 2 out front, but a puncture during a stage would be problematic and mess up my NPA lol.

But if you get the puncture you can shotgun mid stage. Might get you some extra points.

Good news for fans of the TCS who want/need to make it heavier…

I was incorrect earlier about the weight of the OG steel rail, it weighs 2lbs 6ozs (not 3.5lbs).

The new steel “max rail” that’s coming out in a few weeks is significantly heavier (4lbs), more so with the 1.2lb front weight stabilizer thingy hanging off the end. The new rail will also take 6 new square steel weights so that’s another 6+ ounces (comes with 2 per Manners).

I spoke with Manners about it and ordered what I could, they wouldn’t let me preorder the “max rail” but said it should be out in a few weeks… FWIW, they said if your stock has hole spacing for the A419 serrated rail or their newer aluminum rail you’re all set, but if yours only has holes for the OG steel rail you’ll need a couple more holes (luckily mine already has both).

Tom also mentioned they will be coming out with a lighter weight adjustable recoil pad.

I have used those wheel weights inserted inside the fore end and taped them in place. I was able to fit quite a few with out adding bulk.

I also removed the adjustable recoil pad and added a fixed recoil pad to lose the weight of all that aluminum and steel. It balances out very well now at 17pounds.

Anyone figure this out? Trying to find what cerakote color was used on the bottom rifle. @RobertB any idea?

I wish I could tell you but I don't know. Those are gelcoats made just for us and I don't know the cerekotes that match.

G.A. Precision did that build and cerekoted the action, chassis, rail, and buttplate. They may have that info but not 100% sure.

Sucks I can't help.

I did reach out to them, they said Burnt Bronze, thanks! Believe I may have seen you at Arena this past weekend, should have introduced myself. I'll be back for Guardian, glad to have you down here!

Hey @RobertB , any word on the release of the steel “max rail” for the TCS?

I bought the front stabilizer thingy and a couple/few sets of the new square weights ~2 months ago and they’ve been sitting on my bench while I wait for the max rail to get released so I can put them to use (under the stabilizer description it said it’d be “a few weeks” on the max rail, not 8+ lol).
