Hello there.
I hope you don't mind me having a few questions.
The AT-XC Pro/Comp model differs from the standard only in the long bridge, brake, folding hinge and rear grip. Is that correct?
Do you like the standard AI brake?
Would you be so kind to measure the distance between Picatinny height and barrel or bridge for me. I want to know the required height of the scope rings.

thank you

will it be possible to take the forward rail and top piece off to keep it easy for me to clean, plus get low sight over bore?

I'm still buying it and I'm definitely not buying another forend piece, just hoping for that kind of money it's configurable like Legos and you've selling me all the good parts out of the gate.
Yes, you can take the bridge off.

Has anyone else found the button on their AT-X hinge seizes when the buttstock is locked out, and can't be pushed in without using some kind of tool? Mine seems to seize up whenever I've been using the rifle, meaning I'm normally unable to just press the button with my thumb and fold the stock when at the range. The only way to release it is to give it a tap with a small nylon hammer when I get back home, then it moves freely again.

I've also got an MDT ACC chassis and Tikka TAC A1 that both have folding stocks, and have never had a similar issue with the buttons on those, so was wondering if anyone with an AT-X has also had this issue and found a way to fix it?

I have been thinking of trying these. Have you ever removed them? Does it leave a mess due to the epoxy they use?

Hey Nik, there was some discussion about that stuff on the OG AI thread. Start here and read that whole page.

I guess people hate the stuff. People talked about some Scapa (not Scarpa) tape that I guess the Brits used on their AW’s and apparently still use.
