This has actually happened to me several times. I only wish I could see the look on my face when it occurs…Many people who have never seen an AI, think it is a Ruger RPR.

Something like this, I’d imagine. This has actually happened to me several times. I only wish I could see the look on my face when it occurs…
I get that or is it an MRAD when shooting my MCMany people who have never seen an AI, think it is a Ruger RPR.
Ha, funny. But not exactly what was going through my mind at the time. It was more like how the hell do you not know the difference. I'm sure I had a very confused look on my face. I have gotten the same "is that a Savage?" When I am shooting my TRG, SSG3000, & various Vudoo builds. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are not aware there are other firearms manufacturers than Remington and Savage.
This......fo shoThe RPR label was what someone thought it was in a blind bolt running test....
Plenty of room for a can. Sticks out probably 1.5”. A 16.5” would be cutting it very closeBarely enough room for a suppressor… maybe?
This is what I would do as you loose the wrench flats with 18” or shorter as noted above18” plus loc tite TBAC NTB gives you a wrench point
Not sure how I never meandered over here. Had my ATX now for about a year and a half, coming from a 700 Clone was quite the change.
-Competition and coyotes with a 26" 6 Dasher from Hunts Long Range
-Deer and comps for fun with the shorty 6.5
I ordered mine with the 6.5 creed barrel with full intentions of cutting it down to 16". Immediately pulled the barrel and put the chassis in the bandsaw
Saw quite a few comments/questions about a 16" setup and you absolutely can do it.
Makes it look 10x better and more functional. No clue why they made the forend so damn long.

I think I like your bag rider better than the factory one I'm using. Mind sharing with me who made it? Thanks in advance.
Its from Sokek Solutions. We worked on making it for the ATX so it dimensionally works and fits well.I think I like your bag rider better than the factory one I'm using. Mind sharing with me who made it? Thanks in advance.
Standard chassis.Does the AI need the MDT AR15 style grip or the chassis grip?
I know this range well…Took the AT-XC out to 1000 this morning, easy button with the 6.5 Creedmoor but what a difference between a lot of factory Hornady 140 ELD-M's circa 2018 to the new/current (2024) lot fresh from the factory. Granted I shot three times as many from the new lot but man what a difference in ES and SD and the velocity was averaging a solid 40fps slower as well. I was dialing 9 mils of elevation at 1000 with the newer slower stuff and holding 1.6mils of wind for a steady 12-14mph crosswind.

I’ve only used the chassis version but either one should work.Does the AI need the MDT AR15 style grip or the chassis grip?
I'm waiting on my AT-XC, and thinking about immediatly having the foreend dimpled for R-LOCK plates and then cut down before more ceracoat. For those of you who cut down the forend, how much did you cut off? I can't see wanting it much longer than I can reach from behind the gun for adjusting bipods in field matches; It will never be way out at the end the way I use a rifle.
How long have you been following AI and their updates and thought processes on what the user wants ?I don't understand how the AT-X was out for over three years and they failed to update the AT-XC chassis with easy features like thumb rest provisions, R-Lock, and adjustable magazine latch.
What magazine is this? It doesn't look like the original 6677

Its a GrayOps CNC 12rd BR mag. I use the normal 6677 for my 6.5 barrel, but for the Dasher these Billet ones feed 200% better than the factory mags do with the 6.5 creed. What magazine is this? It doesn't look like the original 6677
I cut about 2" off. Basically just found a spot where I wouldnt have an open edge from a keyslot or bolt hole and cut it there.I'm waiting on my AT-XC, and thinking about immediatly having the foreend dimpled for R-LOCK plates and then cut down before more ceracoat. I also need a 6 BR cal. barrel and a mag. as well. Do you know if Proof makes this caliber (carbon or steel)? I'm asking about Proof because I know a few importers here in Europe and it would be easier to purchase. Any recommendations are welcome, then I'll look for a way to get it in Europe. Its a GrayOps CNC 12rd BR mag. I cant wait until they start production in standard. They only have BR and GT at the moment.
