Ok hear me out 😂

If the parents are working, stable and drug free I could get behind this. A society that puts priority on family units just might do some good.
That doesn't make sense.
Having children is no different than owning a car, house or any other object. If you can't afford it why is it societies responsibility to pay for it?
It's not much of a family unit if a majority of the childs life is spent being raised by someone else, being taught someone else's values and usually in a puppy mill setting so the parents of can have two cars in the driveway of their Mansion. One picks up the child on the way home and the other picks up supper from the drive through.

First saw him when he opened for Tears for Fears and Hall and Oats a few years ago. We were blown away…he’s only gotten better as he’s found fame.

Many of his tunes in our chillin’ playlist.

Hall and Oats???

Someone went to see Hall and Oats?

;-)

For many westerners, the thought of having less disposable income and actually raising their own children is too much to ask. Public school teachers are the puppy mill operators.

Nowadays?

Cocaine and heroin were wonder drugs in the 1800s, lobotomies and general drilling holes in skulls has been around for who knows how long ... leeches, electricity, radium, tobacco ... the number of snake oil treatments that have been sold to the public for centuries is nigh on innumerable.

The biggest problem with the medical industry is the weak willed, whiny, needy "patients" that pander to it.

Big government, same thing.

People with power can't just be expected to act responsibly they need to be held accountable.
Growing up, my mother was an asthmatic. She had a can of some powder that she burned and inhaled the smoke to relieve the symptoms. When I got into my teens, I looks at the ingredients...the shit had belladonna in it! No wonder she was so happy! LOL

Good points. Parenting is team work. It is a positive for children to see this, makes them better individuals in life. Family and team are one. Look at the majority of people from broken or dysfunctional homes, they end up the same way in life.

You need a license for a dog.

You need a license to build a backyard shed.

You need a license to get married.

But these oompa-loompas can squirt out kids like they are Pez dispensters. And there are no concerns that their spawn turns into gangbangers and mysogenated welfare rats. And worse. Not going to elaborate on 'worse.'

Oh... sorry. I'm bringing up some uncomfortable thoughts.
