Cadex Defence, flaunt it if you've got it!

Can just got out of jail for the 375...

Here’s two of my three Cadex builds. Both started life as Cadex’s “Field Open Top” chassis. In years gone by when Cadex first started, these were just the receiver and fore end (no butt stock or hand grip included). Just a bare chassis.

This is a Remington 700 action chambered in .223rem with a 26” 1:8“ twist Benchmark HV barrel.

16" Barrel? Curious how short of a barrel one can run while still clearing the end of the handguard.
This is an 18" barrel with a competition hand guard, so it depends if you're going to thread for a suppressor or not...or which hand guard you actually have.

The sharpie mark on the barrel would be exactly 16" but you wouldn't be able to thread it for a can and still have it shoulder.

Id say with a competition hand guard...16.75 if you want to run a suppressor...16 for a bare muzzle.

Does anyone sling their Lite Comp rifles here ? Curious if anyone has had any issues with loosening of the rail to the reciever over time . Planning on doing a lot more field excursions where the sling would be beneficial. 🤔

I've ran a sling on mine for 6-8 years and never had an issue. I have the Cadex QD side mount on the front left. Not sure how you're slinging yours if you're using a rail.

Not an R7 owner. But I own a Kraken and I inquired to Cadex about running SRP. Basically their wording was as long as your not attempting to run it at warp speeds, you can use SRP. So if you have a load at the ragid edge of preasure, I'd back it off to the next node.
Thanks mate. Will be for a 22" 7SAW barrel. I'll only be running the 150s so should still get solid performance from a slightly lower charge.

Picked up a used SA Dual Strike in the Px. Can someone kindly share the manual for it? Seems to not exist on Cadex's website and the chassis isn't the most intuitive + I'd like to get official torque specs for the screws. Also, do any cerakoters have experience disassembling these chassis for full paint jobs? Thanks.

Just finished my Cadex Light Comp-Solus Build and everything worked better than I expected. I like the way the chassis comes packed, and the alien tool set they supply as well, top notch Cadex!

I'm happy!

I will post more pictures and build information in the Solus thread.
How well does the chassis balance? Any issues putting it on a bag with the shape of the mag/foreend area? Looking at the same chassis for my build.

My buddy has my Armageddon bag, so I had to use my Cadwell bench bag, and it balances pretty well. The mag is away from the bag by a quarter to half inch in the pic.

They said it couldn’t be done! Zermatt Origin in a Dual Strike. Spoiler: only the front two picatinny rail screws line up with the action. The wizards at @LRI are getting this bundle of joy to adjust the hole spacing on the rear two holes so they line up.

That's awesome. When I was trying to put a gap tempest in a m40a6 RACS I almost went to them to fir the two.

That’s my biggest complaint about my Origin action, the hole spacing doesn’t match anything. How does it hold up with just the front screws? Retain a zero?

Does anyone have any feedback on the toolless adjust stock as featured on the new CDXSS Pro chassis? I'm considering upgrading my CDX-R7 LCP skeleton folder to the new quick adjust model. Just wondering if your happy with the features added.

Thanks for any thoughts.
