Cadex Defence, flaunt it if you've got it!

@Raptorman2014 What Arca rail is that? Have been on the hunt for one for the Dual Strike chassis.

Does anyone know of an action with savage threads that would work in the 3.850" Long Action Competition model? I've got a 300 PRC barrel on the way, and I really want to try a Cadex, but I've already confirmed Bighorn actions won't work.

Give us a email at [email protected] we do offer a 3.850 model but have limited stock

cheers

Customer support is incredible, IMHO; Sales & tech enquiries are always welcome, and they're reps can be found at matches every weekend. They'll even respond on Facebook if you ask nicely, lol.
Tremor is a big rig; check out Chase Strouds efforts on his CDX-40 in 375, and Dwayne Russel's recent 1st place ELR Light finish on a CDX-33 in 300NM. Best of luck with your choice!

Will dry firing without snap caps cause premature wear on the firing pin ? Short Action.
Thanks

Any body try this

DFAT training system

Seems pretty sweet.
Yes its amazing. I have one for every scope I own, only way to do any worthwile dry fire practice indoors unless your scope can focus down to 5 yards. Very well made, high quality threading matched up to the bell of virtually any scope out there. Buy one lens and a bunch of adapters, adapters are only $10 a pop. Highly recommend.

Here's my Mk15 Mod 1, it's 1 of 3 that were built using actual McMillan Bros M88 SASR PIP contract overrun receivers and the NSN version of Cadex's .50 BMG chassis. The scope is a contract overrun Schmidt & Bender PSR 5-25x56 in Ops AWP PSR gen 1 rings. So, this is as close to a legit Mk15 as you can get without enlisting! Also, thank you Cadex for helping with the chassis, without your assistance this unique project would have never been completed!

Very nice rifle, been almost a year since you posted it. How is it working out for you? Recoil manageable? Any complaints about it?

I never shot it and I sold it this week for a lot. Most collectors aren't going to shoot extremely rare rifles like this, they have other ones to shoot. Sorry I can't answer any of your questions.

Would a Cadex Chassis allow me to use a Terminus Zeus LA QC action to shoot both LA (300 PRC, 300 NM) and swap over to SA (308W, 6/6.5 CM)? Essentially, a switch-barrel rifle. I read on the forums that Cadex uses magazine sleeves, so it might be possible, but I was having trouble verifying. Thanks!

Contact Cadex directly on this one. The other option is getting a Kraken with 3 bolts(338, mag, 308), and whichever barrels you like.

If you hit their website, you'll see their action specs, so you can verify if 700sa/LA are compatible. But I believe, the Tac 338 chassis- 338BF, and Tac-308 versions are not cross compatible.
I.E.: The 338 compatible chassis will take different length mag wells, but not a 700SA footprint action. Conversely, the R-7 or similar in 700 Short Action will accept 6.5X47, 6XC etc, but you'll never squeeze a 338 action into it.

I've been back and forth with their amazing sales team on this with my own situation, trying to get a 375 action with a 338 bolt face (for 33XC ELR pressures), but they are so busy with orders its just an unrealistic expectation. **You can get a Stiller action with multiple bolts for the 338 chassis, but not sure if there is a 308 magwell for it.

Lastly, only the Chassis designated for the Patriot & Guardian builds, with a Cadex Action, are equipped with the nice long handguard with pic rail. Otherwise you'll be getting the tactical short rail with open slots, which is heavier as well.

I'd personally invest in a Kraken, they are an exceptional rifle. Good luck with your build.

Yes, but not in the way you want. Cadex uses aics mags. There is a long action pattern mag that has spacers in it.
This can work but you're limited on capacity

Considering a Strike Pro for a CDG build. Some video mentions an adjustable mag latch ? Does that mean we can adjust the latch to be fully AW magazine compatible ?

Love my new Cadex strike pro!
In sniper grey.

I am a big fan of Rails going around the Barrel, not just U shape. Is there any way to add a folder to the Field Competition? Or is the Lite Competition the only route?

I also love the ARCA on the bottom of the rail of the Strike Pro, but it appears the only way I can cover up the barrel is with the NV shroud, which I dont think will work with an Impact 737r Action, right?

I’m sending my spare chassis off to a mate (it has the CPS takedown lower on it at the moment). He’s going to thread it and attach an MDT folding attachment on it, it’ll need a fixed to carbine interface to do that. Then I’ll just attach the current stock onto the folder

Hello Brian the Lite Comp is the folding Field Comp

as for the Pro and Bridge we have seen people run just the front but use a 1.7 mount ( depending on your optic) and it will clear

Here's one for you guys at Cadex!
We need a mag insert for the Kracken (338LA DSSF) to be available in the Long Action Competition chassis...so we can utilize a DSSF mag.
