I know this is a form 4 thread but if anyone is curious my form 1 SBR approval just came back in 5 days on a SS Trust.

My last form 4 certified on 7/23 and cleared on 9/16, also on a SS Trust.

I have three more items on a form 3 at Primary Arms so I’ll be going through this again as soon as they let me know it’s time to do my part.

FINALLY....
Longest wait I ever had. I have 3 others so these 2 make 5.
The first one was about 11 months and that was normal. The next 2 were about 3 months and that was extremely fast.

TBAC 338 Ultra SR, TBAC 22TD. They cashed the checks July 6, 2023. I got the cans out of jail last week.

About 3 weeks ago I was talking to a buddy in Idaho who said he found a can he wanted in stock at the LGS and made payment, did the kiosk thing and had it approved in 2 days.

That made me think of mine still in jail. So I called the localish ATF guy and he called me back in about an hour. I was impressed with that all in itself. He could "see" the 22 but not the 338. He said that was weird, then said that "they" had the forms "flagged" in October of last year. All paper forms. He didn't know what the issue was but said he'd look into it. I never heard back from him but my LGS called and said the 22 form was in October 11. I couldn't get in so I picked it up on Monday. Then on Wednesday he called with the 338. Interesting that both were postmarked the same day.

Also, of interest, the ATF guy said that if I had done the electronic thing, sure, MIGHT have been faster but it's a sort of crap shoot. But that if I had done the electronic filing, he would not have been able to look stuff up as easy, which doesn't make sense to me but whatever.

I think that the the applications were flagged for some unknown reason (I recently moved about 2000 miles?) and were sitting on someones desk until I made inquiry so then they had to find them and do their job.

Congratulations! (bastard). :ROFLMAO:
I had 2 certified on 9/6/24. A friend purchased and certified one the following week from the same dealer. HIS approved in 25 HOURS. Me, I'm still waiting...
Ooof. It's the quickest approval I've ever received and the quickest my dealer has seen. I was expecting to see it around Christmas if I was lucky but figured it would be next Fall. My longest has been 364 days and my quickest until this one was 93 days. This one just set an unrealistic bar for me that I know I'll never see again. lol.
