Interesting, how many rounds down that tube? Weird place for it to appear from a stress point of view.

Is that directed towards me? If so I'd agree with you that that's a weird place as well. The chip I was showing is even above where the extractor would impact....We'll have to see what the Glock Mothership has to say... as for how many rounds... conservatively... IDK, 7-8K rounds as my best guess. All factory loads, standard pressure, etc. let's say I'm 1K rounds off of my estimate and I'm embellishing, after 15 years that'd still be 6-7K rounds (something like 500 rounds per year f I did my quick math correctly).Interesting, how many rounds down that tube? Get a hold of Streamlight and send them a photo of your TLR-1. That gap at the hinge side of the battery door is a materials failure. I had the same thing happen to my TLR-1HL, which eventually totally failed and broke free. They sent me a new battery door for free which seems to have fixed the issue.
Good eye and thanks for the heads up. This is actually an old picture and I have done exactly that where they sent me a replacement door. It’s just one of the best pictures I had of it so it’s the one I like to use.Get a hold of Streamlight and send them a photo of your TLR-1. Nice idea for taking the picture. Waiting on my can now. Got the green dot zeroed this last weekend. 2 weeks into the can wait.
Still too new to really tell (less than 150 through mine) but I like the slide release. Not quite as nice as my first gun, an STI (grand power k100 mk6. imported by sti as the Gp6 at the time) but quite close. That one slapping in a full mag drops the slide. Walther won't quite do that but it is just a brush to drop it. Much much better than my m&p9c.How do y'all like the Walthers? I'm going to pick up both my PDP Pro E and SF match next weekend.
I hope you offered to give it a good homeA village board member from the small town near where I live found this while going through a box of old village papers.
It was carried by the town cop back when they had a town cop.
He brought it to me to hold until they decide what to do with it.
It is in amazing condition for being in the bottom of a box in the old village meeting room for who knows how many years.

There is an ol gal in town that I believe is the niece of the last town cop but I have not got a chance to talk to her yet.Very cool, I wonder if any one related to the last "town cop" still lives there?
