Simple question, cause I see so many and wonder what the story is. What does your screen name mean.

Mine is simple, it is my nickname throughout a lot of my life. My last name is Cogburn, and I grew up in Arkansas really close to Ft. Smith and Judge Parker’s court. The 98 is the year I joined Uncle Sugars chain gang

I have different names for different forums and forum classes. In the "2A" class, I have a certain name I've set for most of those forums but, for some reason I can't recall, I chose a different one for the Hide. I have a different name for my SCUBA diving forum class. I have a different name for my "Doberman Pinscher" forum. This is, primarily, just to keep a little separation in re: my interests from all the different forums. Oddly enough, I guess I shouldn't have worried about the Doberman Pinscher forum because most of the members there are, actually, "Pro-2A" and talk about it a lot (as well as being conservatives, Pro-Trump, etc.). Still, I made that forum name more "doberman" related (a combination of the names of my two childhood dobies). Unfortunately, I can't have a dobie right now due to Homeowner's Insurance regulations.

As for the Hide, I picked this name (at least the "LP308" portion of it) as it was just getting into my RPR .308 Win at the time I joined. The "F" was probably "Florida," and the 51 an anagram of 15 (i.e. AR15). I honestly don't remember completely, but... As it turns out, one of my closest friends and shooting partners is also a member here and probably knows my other forum names for the other 2A forums.

Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :p

Back in the late 90’s and early 00’s the Texas music thing was starting up and the stuff I liked had a mix of traditional Honkey Tonk blended with the folk/Texas sound and I love it ,so I was describing it to some friends and came up with Texastonk. That was 02’ or 03’.

Interesting. I thought it may have been a combination of two card games: "Texas Hold'em" and "Tonk." I used to play Tonk a lot as a kid (not for money though). My dad used to call it "Read'em & Weep!"

I was with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Mobile) back in 77-78. I had always admired them as a kid from books I read at the library. I had been chosen at random to be a a part of unit after serving with the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea. In Korea I served with the 2/61st.ADA a Air Defense unit, located on the DMZ near a small town called Munsan. I was there during Operation Paul Bunyan in 76. Two Officers were killed by North Koreans two miles away from where I was stationed, during a tree trimming incident. It was the quite the shit show for a couple weeks. That's as close as I ever came to combat.

I (used to) ride a Ducati 748R. R bikes are the limited production models that Ducati produces to meet homologation rules for racing series, the 748R being their Super Sport entry. It came from the dealer with turn signals, head lights and horn in a box, and dealer installed Termignoni carbon fiber exhaust. Onlins suspension front and rear, steering damper, shower-style fuel injectors, slipper clutch and the largest front rotors (at the time) to ever come on a production motorcycle.

Racing drivers are often termed "pilots" so, 748rpilot.

I used to be into RC, and RC racing. At the time, I ran only HPI (hobby products international) trucks and cars. That was over 25 years ago at this point. But the handle just stuck, because I'm lazy for forum names. LOL Another member here actually PM'd me asking if I was into RC because they got the reference.
Team Losi here, way back in the late 90s mostly gas buggy and stadium trucks. Now all I do is fly, mostly drones, but have been into planes and Helis as well

Never occurred to me to have pseudonyms. Ron is my first name, W is my middle name initial, S is my last name initial.

Perhaps, I could have been cheeky and chose SrP for Senor Pendejo.

I only know enough Spanish to make people mad, having learned a smattering on the job in construction for some decades (I started doing electrical work in 1983.)

My cock is big..and fat.
Need I remind you of the time we were in a thread and talking about verifying a seller or buyer to avoid scams and you piped up and said that is why you send nudes?

And I replied, saying, that is how we learned that your screen name is ironic. Whereas if I had chosen the screen name Senor Pendejo, there is no chance of irony, of course.

And so I continue to exhibit the reason that I am a complete asshole.

The results of testicular cancer and making light of it.
In a bar conversation the other night the question of a prosthetic was brought up. Ping pong balls are for wealthy or well insured with low self esteem. Bar tender wants to open a "Build a Ball" like "Build a Bear" for customs. I thought a squeaky toy would be hilarious but would probably squeak when I walked.
