CIA selling drugs to fund dirty war
The movie "Traffick" with Helen Mirren and Michael Douglas was about the "War on Drugs" Reagan pursued. USA and Great Britain hounded Pakistan incessantly to stop the farming of poppies that is, of course, used for opium and heroin. Eventually, they got what they wanted. The poppy farming moved to Afghanistan.
The CIA was trying to keep tabs on the russians wanting to invade Afghanistan to later have control over a pipeline for oil from the Caspian Sea to the Gulf of Oman. They needed to fund the people who would gather data and intel. Chief among the people they could trust was the son of rich Saudi oil family, the bin Ladens, who were in business with George W. Bush and his oil company in Texas. That son, Osama, was well educated.
The CIA needed to fund it and they did. Now, guaranteeing the growing of poppies and shipping the produced opium and heroin, they were bringing it in by the plane load, primarily the area of Los Angeles, California.
LA Det. Michael Rupert (RIP) testified in an open and televised hearing with a CIA spokesman there about the influx of both the drugs and jamaican "posses" who were vicious and sold the stuff (the Crips and Bloods would soon become the home grown version.)
So, yeah, not even a theory in the shadows. Documented public statements.
Det. Rupert also spoke of the conspiracies of 9/11.
I think he must have known something about the Clintons because a sheriff found him and pronounced it suicide and closed the case.
