Well, the LPR definitely measures less shift. It seems like a .1 for the LPR and a .2 for the AE. But, If you start at the beginning of that thread, Scott shot the LPR and had no shift.
There's no doubt in my mind though that the LPR is just in another league in terms of rigidity. I also struggle with not being biased towards the LPR because the 223 Barrel that I have in it is just a hammer and it continues to impress me. The Aero is housing a 22 arc barrel which just isn't as consistent as a straight 223 or quite as accurate so for me the comparison is kind of muddled. The other thing to keep in mind is the LPR is a thermal fit receiver whereas the Craddock barrel in the Aero upper is literally just tossing it in there.
On the other side of this discussion, one can buy an Aero M4 enhanced upper receiver, sergeant of arms rail and a pro lower for 620 bucks. After I sell all the guts out of this LPR I might get the price down to $1,200 for the receiver set.
