Is needing a factory stocked and barrel B14R worth the effort? Has anyone done it?

My older green mountain barreled 10/22 shoots better than the Bergera. CCI green tags are a solid 1 MOA in the 10/22. The B14R can be all over the place at 50 and 100. Think I want to bed before considering a barrel. Also wondering if a better stock would make it worth it. Enjoy toying with things to make them shoot.

How long have you had it? Too long to send back to the manufacturer with evidence of enough rounds on target showing its crap?
Once you bed it warranty goes out the window, so I’d make sure that’s the issue before doing so.

If you have a different stock that will fit, I'd swap to that first.

You might have to run the trigger pins off a different gun, the ones that shipped on my B14R protrude & will interfere with a lot of stocks (I have zero confidence in Bergara, so I don't know if they are supposed to ship that way)

CCI is some of the most garbage ammo you could use for this. CCI Green tag and standard both shoot about 1.5" compared to the SK at .5" out of mine.
I have 1 lot of mini-mags that shoot .5moa, every other lot I've tried is 2moa. I've never even found green tag that will compete with mini-mags.

My personal opinion is that CCI went to hell when they got bought by Vista and it's never gotten better.

SK rifle match and long range match both shoot about .5moa depending on lot for me. Worst lot was still sub moa.

Unless the action is wobbling around in the stock I'd try good ammo before you blame the stock.
