Is this still shocking to people? It's Memphis...New Orleans Clone (with fewer Nutria if any). In the middle of New Orleans North (St. Louis) and New Orleans proper.
Almost all of the mayors the last 60 years have had a "D (or C)" by their party affiliation. I guess Wiki is too scared to print out the party affiliation of these mayors.
Plenty of stupid ideas abound in Memphis. The downtown "mall" , Mud Island (is that still a park or is it all condos now?) and the Pyramid are among the biggest. There one good thing was when they had WONDERS exhibits which were truly spectacular - a pity that this failed (for whatever reason).
