How much did California send to Ukraine?

How much did California spend on benefits for illegals?

How much did they spend on saving smelt?

How much did they spend on DEI and rainbow shit!

How much did they spend attacking Trump and Republicans?

How much would it have cost to keep reservoirs filled and “fix” the fire fuel situation in the mountains.

Those are the numbers everyone needs to hear…

Sirhr
Don't forget the billions on the homeless and the bullet train.

^^^ How much did they collect and distribute for North Carolina? No, really. I am asking. Not rhetorical!

Since Asheville is now fudge-packer lefty central... I assume that ActBlue was all over the NC disaster. How much did they take in? And how much went back to rebuild the communities in Appalachia that were devastated?

Or how much went to KamelToe? Or to migrant caravans? Or to the BLM founder with the mansion and two cellar-holes?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Saw a pic of damage to leading edge........expanding foam in hole......let cure......trim to leading edge......gorilla tape....and get back in the air.

I'm not a cert. airplane tech / mech..and know "my fix" would be a "no no", but sometimes " rules" ..............well,are just "rules".
If I had the ability to fly one of those, I'd get my ass up in there and get back to work.

Having said all the above, there could be other air frame structure problems that isn't visible in pic that I saw,and the above comments dont/ can't apply.

Opinions from an Ultralight pilot, ( Weedhopper) ,probably are not to be followed 😁
That is exactly what they would do, man. AOG? Especailly in that situation? RTV, aluminum patch panel, and rivets assuming control surfaces, hydraulics, and fuel tanks were intact. Hell, you might hear someone yell "Where's the 200 mile an hour tape? We gotta get this bitch in the air! NOW!" And I kid you not... There is a repair station right down the road from me and my buddy was working on one of new P&W jet engine cowlings. Found a cracked blocker door skin. Callled P&W. P&W said "Uhm, we don't have a repair written for that yet. Put 200MPH tape on it and we'll deal with it at its first Heavy." I don't like flying as much as I once did.

The thought process I used in making my comment was asking myself........" What would the Flight engineer/ ground crew in WW II do ,faced with this predicament and that's what I came up with. Granted there wasn't any expanding form back then or 200mph tape that I'm aware of , but this , "we gonna be down until Monday" ( what I heard / read ,I think) IMO is/ sounds like a bunch of "You can't do dat"BS..........

Wooh, at least I wasn't very far off.......

People build in an area where natural disaster risk is so high some actuaries won’t even insure it

People vote for a government that makes it impossible for insurance companies to sell policies because it compounds the risk with regulations that guarantees loss. BTW, insurance companies are a business, not a right.

People further vote for a government that doesn’t value competence, but more so values demographics over capabilities.

People vote for a government that funds nothing it should be doing, but spends profligately on every virtue signaling, liberal habitude that steals from the taxpayers. That includes millions on people who aren’t even citizens.

People furthermore vote for a government that pushes the welfare state as a right, once again stealing from the taxpayers.

People are surprised when the inevitable happens because money has been wasted, incompetence abounds and the truth bites them in the ass.

People expect the rest of the country to bail out their poor decision making.

Yeah, no. F you.

I fixed a ton of stuff with Nashua 3" olive drab duct tape on rotary wing aircraft, even fixed a 3" gash above the knee long enough to get to an ER. I thought the doc was going to pass out when I told him to stitch it up without a local one. Nothing could have been as painful as them removing that crap. It takes the hair and skin on removal usually.

We've had rotor blades come in with bullet holes from the sandbox and they had some form of "industrial" duct tape over the holes. Looking at the removal tags, some flew multiple missions and dozens of hours since that simple repair was documented.

Quality duct tape is evil, especially when applied under vacuum, is absolutely a solid repair for non-structural applications.

LA county cannot afford 200mph tape. All used for ‘feel good programs.’

And if they could afford it, it’s probably got that proposition 65 shit on it. Environmentally unsound…not allowed.

As a side note to that; when I tracked my car, the shop said…go home, get some HVAC Foil tape and tape over those weights because they’ll sling right off after 30 minutes on the track with all the brake heat and CF. Talk about hard to get off; that shit becomes ONE with the wheel.

This stupid bitch, Kristine Larson violates every moral ethic of Firefighting.
As Assistant Chief, she is overseeing training, and knows that part of training, includes Evacuating injured Firefighters from burning room/buildings. It is a basic skill. It is a fitness requirement, and used to be tested. Yo9u cannot gender-norm in a real fire.
As I said in another place, a reasonable person would have said, “I’ll die trying” or “I’ll give it my damndest effort.” She essentially said “tough shit”.
In a field where every partner has your back, she clearly states, she has NO ONE’S back.
Worse: Disaster mitigation is dead last on a list of priorities. Guess what’s number one: DEI.
So, looking over this fine specimen of humanity, I gotta ask :
How many men, and how big a winch, would be required to drag this huge tub of guts, out of a burning building?

But, she's entitled.

She’s a fat ass diabetes entitled piece of shit that unqualified for the job. Her only qualification is she’s queer. She would burn like a sperm whale

That is exactly why everything touched by DEI withers and rots. Now imagine she is placed onto a brain or cardiac surgery team just based on her sexual orientation...

I don't envy anyone that has lost their home, that said CA's policies absolutely make the risk of fires, and their total damage significantly worse.

That said it's also hard to feel bad for them on the insurance front. It's a good life lesson that if insurance companies won't even take your money, at any amount, to insure something, you should move or accept that when your house burns down it's on you because of decisions you made. If they say they won't renew your policy because the risk of fire is too dangerous, you should move. If they increase your premium from $4000 to $18,000 for increased fire risk (as one sob story article was saying), you should pay it or move. The average......average home price in the Palisades is $5mil, if you own a $5 million home and choose not to pay $18k a year for insurance in a fire risk zone......it's hard to feel too bad for them.

I used to live near the Missouri river, and all the affluent folks wanted expensive property and homes right on the banks. Then every few years like clockwork it would flood, usually due to ice jams or quick melts, and they'd complain and whine that the insurance didn't pay enough, or it was too expensive so they went without and then they'd whine to the news media and city/state officials that someone needed to cover their losses, often they got their way because they were the "important" people.

The people who are insured are going to cash their checks and move into a town near you.
If recent history is any indication that would be TX (2x any of the other states almost certainly for business benefits) followed by AR, NV, WA, FL, NY, OR, CO. The most wealthy CA folks leaving appear to be buying up WY, I guess they got tired of buying up MT for the last few decades.

Can't say for the others but CA transplants have been turning CO into the next CA for a couple decades already.

Arkansas is under full attack by CA transplants!!!

Does anyone know how many residents were able to flee on Newsoms infamous train to nowhere?Dumb fucks vote for dumber fucks and so you get fucked.
that is an excellent point to remember so it can be thrown in the faces of dumbfucks in the future.
hey, she got some of the "equity" she was seeking by ensuring a shitload of wypipo lost all the equity they owned.

this is the reason it is really hard to have sympathy for Cali.

California used to be a conservative state until transplants from liberal states infected it. Now people from those states complain California liberals are contaminating their communities. This isn’t a California problem. This is a USA problem. Hopefully this fire will wake enough people up to change things.

I guess…don’t count on it…

California has just lost what little appeal it had left. Just wait until all of these Hollywood liberals start trying to pull building permits to rebuild. And face the wall of bureaucracy they voted into office. Watch what you wish for, because you just might get it.
Newsome will waive that stuff to ingratiate himself back into their good graces.

Watch and see. Fucking politicians and money. . .

yes, but Governor AviatorFrames said he was removing all the red tape....LOL. In their minds, that probably means replacing it with blue tape.

He must not get all the TEMU adds that show up on every website :). He could have picked up a more accurate clone for like $7.99.

Personally, not a fan of leather bands; but then that's me. Yes, I guess they are more formal, but they don't do it for me personally.
