Problem was, most the people that showed up were there to troll them, and their mantra was "Reeeeee!" Fights broke out all the time, including with LaBeouf, who got arrested. Even if he IS actually a person who 'lives by their word' and is not afraid to back up what he says, what WOULD happen in real life is that he might try to sucker punch someone during a heated exchange in a restaurant or on the street, maybe even pull out a knife or screwdriver in a very slow, clumsy, and easily noticed fashion. Upon which he'd be IMMEDIATELY disarmed and put into a headlock and/or BJJ-pretzel tied by his would-be victims or the police, and all the while he'd be letting out earsplitting howls and screams of "police brutality!", "it's not fair!", "he/they attacked me first!", "you're hurting me!", "I have a medical condition!", anything to get pity from the people recording the entire thing on their phones. You can almost envision that scene playing out.
