Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

I just finished at the range! Well hot damn. This thing works! I have a 6.5creed on a banish 30. Rifle weighs about 11lbs. Went from a 7-8mil recoil movement to a 2-2.5mil recoil movement. Sight picture is fantastic. This is exactly what I was looking for and hoping for!
Pretty damn awesome. Very noticeable improvement on 300 PRC.

I like this enough, that I will be choosing this over the brake from now one. Previously when I shot this can with 300 prc it was taking me too much off target and so I was preferring a brake.
So there are cans without end caps. Could a version be made that was a sleeve over the suppressor o.d. was split and clamped on?

Sir I know you are super busy, but if I can add the AAC Ranger 5/7 Series to the list of R&D that would amazing.
I would even take a radial end cap like the KGM. This would be sick for a DMR gas gun.

Got mine yesterday and was able to sneak out and shoot @ 100 behind the house this morning.
Didn’t have much time so just shot 10 rounds with the brake on a SilencerCo Scythe. 6.5 Creedmoor with 140s @ 2700
Just to echo what everyone else has said, initially I am very impressed. Super light and the fit/finish look good. I ran 3 rounds prone to confirm zero. No POI shift after installing the brake. Shot 7 rounds from tripod standing with a bag and noticed a big improvement in muzzle rise. Planning to spend some time with this on a 308 barrel this week.

Ordered and delivered in under a week. Fit on the Diligent Defense suppressors is perfect. Install was a breeze. Now to get some weather to give them a go!
Ordered one, I'm going to see about designing a "bevel spacer" for the nut to sit against once I have mine in hand, should allow for even better fit with all the dead-air R types
The DD - DTF-LTI can is on a 300prc. And the DD - Enticer L is on a 6.5 Creedmoor. Have an Enticer S on a 6 GT that I’ll now have to get a brake for! Great product and even better fellow selling them!
Same. I’d like to see what you come up with. Picked up my XC Ti two days ago and the brake has been ordered.
I don’t have the fancy gadgets to prove one way or another. So that’s in the ear of the shooter. Things like caliber, suppressor, and barrel length play a huge part in that.
To be safe, minimal penalty in sound.
I definitely agree, there isn’t a large noise penalty at all. One of the things that impressed me about the brake.
I am with you. I was expecting a brake type noise penalty but it is just as comfortable as a non comp suppressor to shoot.
I get giddy with a smile shooting because I am so used to the recoil but it’s so muted with this brake. Fun stuff.
Not sure it cut recoil in half but, when free recoiling my 6.5 creed to exaggerate it, I was getting half the muzzle rise as with the flat cap on my omega. A nice improvement for spotting shots.

I haven’t checked on the boss suppressor yet. There is a chance they use the same threads, but it seems like suppressor companies like to use proprietary threads.
Just ordered one for a Sico 36M and looking forward to giving it a go on my 300 NM. At check out it says it is 30 caliber. @RecoilXBrakes , would it not make sense to match or offer the brake bore with the that of the suppressor? My 36M is also used on a 9mm pistol, and would imagine some with 338 Lapuas etc might be interested in the larger bore. Personally, I always use the 0.36 end cap regardless of the caliber ammo being used because I know my propensity to eff things up. Keeps it simple with minimal loss in effectiveness. Looking forward to trying this brake out.
For our first initial run, .30 cal suited most of everyone’s needs. After seeing the demand, and hearing this same question from multiple folks, larger bore brakes are already being made. Not only for the SiCo 36M/46M, Hybrid 46, but also the Dead Air/Diligent Defense that offer .33 Cal suppressors. Those will be added to inventory as soon as we can.

I received mine this weekend, was able to get out today to try it out. I have it installed on a silencerco omega, the rifle is a 6gt shooting 112mb at 2750. I also had my other 6gt with a chad shooting the same load, and a 6brx with a tmb shooting the same bullet at similar speeds.
Shooting all 3 side by side, the recoilx brake definitely isnt as effective at reducing recoil, i’d say it felt closer to my 6.5 with a chad, while the 6.5 is a tad less. The one thing i did notice is i felt like i had an easier time not blinking while shooting the recoilx, and i dont think the additional recoil is unmanageable and it has brought new life to the silencerco that sat on a gas gun in my safe 90% of the time.
I’d be interested to try an area 419 maverick next to this and see if there would actually be any benefit to the maverick.
Overall i am very pleased and i’ll be using it on my practice setup and probably try it at a regional match.

Well prior to the chad i shot tmb’s and neither really “bothered” me, but i havent shot anything else to know any better. Normally at 2 day matches i think the heat/sun kicks my ass more than anything. And i only use ottos noize barrier in ear plugs, so i’d think not using over ears as well would make it intolerable, but it doesn't seem to bother me.
I don't have a sandman, but when I head out to the range this weekend I'll try the primal on my 6.5CM with the standard endcap, e-brake, and recoilX

I've been looking for something like this. I have a vented end cap from muted machine works, but it's not a brake, it just reduces backpressure.

You’re going to love it.
Count me a fan. Using a 20” 6.5x47 with 147’s in an 11 pound rifle, the TiXC with brake is a great combination. My last four shots of the day went into a group about 1” tall by 5” wide at 1000 yards. Somewhat steady headwind, seated tripod. Lucky I know, but it was a great way to end the day, especially considering my wobble zone was pretty large.
The brake attached is not much louder than without it attached, but is somehow very effective at reducing recoil, all while being what I would consider hearing safe (for a few shots anyway). The ability to use this brake will be a factor for me when choosing cans going forward.

Very pleased with it, shot without ear protection and there was a crack when fired but nothing crazy. Didn't bother me at all. Then I shot with ear protection, well that's gonna be nice during a match, no headache or that concussion. Recoil seemed more of a push straight back from a 6.5cm. Gonna shoot some more off props in the next day or two to get a better feel for on the recoil.
Tried it on the Primal this weekend, now with my 6.5CM it's no longer of a choice between "shoot suppressed" or "spot my own shots".
Very effective despite the simple design, and considerably more effective than the e-brake.
the E-brake I would say is more about taming buildup flash and pop for night use than it is for actually being a brake.

I'll go with "full jump off target vs being able to see it enough to spot impacts at 200"
Thanks. That’s a start. If anyone has a trigger cam I'm interested in seeing a before and after on free recoil and/or very light shoulder input off a barricade.
With my 6.5 creed, on a steel barricade and tatertot, just shoulder right up behind but “free recoiling” and not driving the rifle trying not influence results, I was getting 5-6 mils of rise with a flat cap omega, with the brake I was getting 2 mils of rise.
When I’m driving the rifle it’s more negligible but it’s still an appreciable improvement I feel.
I have a guy shooting PRS matches local to northern Utah in that same config. From all of our testing, that seems to be one of the best candidates with our current offerings. There are some flow thru cans that I feel could be great for sound and recoil that were going to build brakes for.
