I currently am getting a FN spr a5m, Wondering what improvements can be made to squeeze every ounce of accuracy out of this fine rifle.

And if you have any recommendations for the work please let me know.

Personally I would put it through it's paces first to evaluate if anything needs any further attention.
From what I recall the hammer forged barrels they used were pretty damn good, if anything I would think the bedding may need some attention but even that is just a guess and may not need any further action.
The most personal preference aspect will most likely be the trigger everyone has thier own take on that.
I say shoot it and then make an assessment before formulating a plan to pick it appart.

^ This. Start reading and enjoy.

Generally, an M*Carbo trigger return spring and bedding is about all you can do at home yourself.

They are going to be an honest sub-MOA shooter. I have three, but two have been rebarreled to 6.5x47.

Good rifles. The proprietary mags are harder to get now but they are brilliant.
Just be aware that sometimes the chrome lining can flake away and destroy your accuracy. If you are struggling to get it to shoot, that's the problem, get a new barrel.
The trigger out of the box is awful. For a rifle of this class to have such a poor trigger is a crime. It's creepy, inconsistent and heavy. Replace the trigger or get a competent smith to tune it up for you (usually just a set screw and a new spring).
The scope base is WEAVER ONLY on the A5Ms. Picatinny rings won't fit. Chase a new scope base or use Leupold Mark 4 rings.
I bought mine as my first proper precision rifle and it drove me insane. I still find it a difficult rifle to shoot well compared to my others, but because it was such a chore and I had to fault find so much, I learned a lot faster than I felt I otherwise would have. Its the gun I take out now when I want to try new things or test my fundamentals because out of all the guns I own, the A5M is the one that will punish me the most for my poor fundamentals. I hated it for years but now have a real soft spot for it. I'll never sell it.
