Garmin tactix 7 Pro Ballistics

Auto updates had been turned on the whole time that’s where I’m confused.
The watch has a pressure sensor built in that is used by the AB solver, however, we don't pull the temp data from the watch into the solver as there are a lot of conditions where it could be inaccurate. You're wearing it on your wrist which will cause it to shift slightly, but if you're outdoors in cold weather but the watch is under a coat sleeve it can be off dramatically. The watch is able to pair with a Tempe sensor which is a wireless sensor roughly the size of a thick quarter or with an AB capable Kestrel weather meter. Otherwise you'll need to enter the temperature manually regardless of whether auto-update is on or not.

Has anyone encountered this situation before?
I connect garmin Tactix 7 Pro Ballistics to the Kestrel 5700 Elite (initially everything is ok), and after about 1 minute it disconnects andthe message in the picture below appears on the screen.
Any suggestion is welcome.
P.S. Both equipment are up-to-date (19.41 version for Tactix 7)

Same issue for me. Kestrel will connect then the watch tells me there’s “no ballistics solver found” as seen in your picture and then disconnects. No errors for me about pressure sensors, it just disconnects. The watch and kestrel are both new and software updated. A Garmin support case was opened, videos and watch data sent to them, and the response was to pull the kestrel battery, hold it power button 30 secs, then try again. Followed that procedure exactly 37 times despite trying it before contacting them. No joy. Nothing back from Garmin yet either. It’s not worth paying for or having the AB if a kestrel and LRF can’t be used.

I had exactly the same problem with the connection between Garmin tactix 7 Pro ballistics and Kestrel 5700 Elite. I went through the same steps together with the Garmin support team but still without result. In the end, I sent them the videos and they opened a service ticket. It is still being investigated. I am also waiting with interest for an answer.
Almost 2 weeks have passed without any answer unfortunately

I just saw there was a software update so I tried again including taking the battery out of the kestrel and holding the power button 30 seconds. Still got the error message “Unsupported Ketrel. No ballistics solver found. Kestrel unpaired”. Kestrel software is up to date.

Garmin, please help!!!!

Interesting response from Garmin today. Their Customer Service rep is very nice and basically told me to return the watch to the retailer I purchase it from. Not sure what to do here. Anyone have experience to tell them the Garmin will at least see it through to resolution even though it may take a while? If they’ve left people hanging then returning is my only option.

I would return it.

Nope. I had an issue where any time the rangefinder sent a range into the watch, the watch would reboot. Happened with multiple rangefinders. I sent videos, etc. No dice. After a few weeks they offered a warranty replacement.

I got the replacement. Loaded my profiles in. Same thing.

Started deleting profiles, eventually it worked again. So one of my profiles was probably causing some kind of math error and the watch would reboot instead of handling it gracefully. But never heard from Garmin support with a solution.

Can you load all the profiles back in. Eliminate them one by one. Once you find the culprit send me the profile in question? Profiles can be accessed via a USB Cable and computer in the folder called AB on the watch.
