I feel I work in that environment sometimes...meetings to discuss meetings. But, that's the normal chaos of work; this seems like a normal bitter CS to me...like my neighbor complaing about TRUMP making them go back to work. Well, if you were not out doing your lawn doing work hours, talking to the other neighbor for 90 minutes at a time, and being productive after hours to make up...then maybe you wouldn't be having to go back in.
i would bet that some democrat was going to sell them those condoms and make bank on it.
Imagine if we were even remotely-guilty of being the Imperialist Capitalists that the Mongo-slavs and Chicom demons have accused us of. We would never have a border problem. The interlocking fields of fire and minefields would deal with that quite well, manned by unforgiving border patrol military/police with shoot-first orders, no exceptions-like the East Germans did.
We would take the Suez Canal and tell any of the pissant dictators in the neighboring countries that if they have a problem with it, they will be fined additional penalties for being weak and beneath our blade. We would schedule periodic military annihilations of their worthless forces more like Roman Legionnaire exercises, but with overwhelming technological superiority that the US has, and they don’t.
Imagine Egypt making a peep about this, for example. Immediate spine-crushing smack-down, old-world style. We would then charge massive tariffs at our pleasure for any ships passing through the Suez. Any nations that wish to voluntarily pay respect to us would get generous discounts and be on favorable nation trade status.
Then look at the Strait of Malacca. Same thing. Any of you little turds want to pipe up? I didn’t think so. Get used to the US and allied Navies dictating to you our tariffs and any demands that benefit us as priority #1.
Anyone that challenges us would have their military and leadership systematically annihilated like a bloodsport that would make Desert Storm and WWII look like picnics.
Instead, we have been benevolent, donated untold billions in charity just from our private sector, hundreds of billions in foreign aid our people don’t know about, military sales packages no other nation has the capacity or interest in doing, technology-sharing, favorable trade, and education.....without most of the nations ever earning a dime of it.

None of that money would go to those preposterous things. That money would be routed to foreign intelligence services and other scam artists who have been robbing the US blind through traitors built into our system for generations.

Any idea why? If the money is appropriated by Congress, then the judge's decision is the law, not because he is a Dem. This happened to Biden when he signed the Executive Order stopping construction of the wall along the Mexican border. A judge held his order illegal because Congress had appropriated the funds, and the Executive has to spend them. Biden immediately implemented the construction and even signed an Executive Order waiving environmental review to speed up construction and spend the funds.
By the way, that is a real question, not rhetorical. I have not read the opinion. I know only what you posted, and I am just now seeing this.
UPDATE: I can't find the opinion, but the complaint alleges Congress directed OMB to make guidelines for distributing financial assistance money, and that was done, and the executive order violates those guidelines. I do not know if this is the basis of the judge's order.

The problem with her argument is that Jacob Howard was quite clear about the reason he made the amendment. It was because he did not want to extend citizenship to Indians. Other Senators made comments upon the amendment, too, arguing that it would grant citizenship to all born on US territory if the parents were subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. The only persons other than Indians that would be described by the language added are children of ambassadors born on US soil and children born to foreigners who control an area during an invasion.
The other problem with her argument is that the Supreme Court has spoken on this subject more than once and has always ruled consistently with that understanding.
In the 2025 case out in Washington, the judge asked during oral argument, "Where were the attorneys when this rule was being drafted?" That is as close as a judge comes to asking WTF?
The reason is that there are numerous Supreme Court rulings on this subject and plenty of legislative history surrounding the adoption of the 14th Amendment.
This is one of those things where social media and commentators looking to make a name for themselves prey on the ignorant.

The opinion is long, but it will inform you about this issue from the Supreme Court's perspective, giving history, context, and finally a ruling, regarding the child born of Chinese parents on US soil. Subject to the jurisdiction thereof just means that the US can exercise jurisdiction over you. The US cannot exercise jurisdiction over diplomats. Their children born on US soil are not citizens. If Cuba invaded Florida and took control and managed to hold it, then the US could not exercise jurisdiction over the Cuban invaders, and children born to them in Florida would not be citizens even if the US Army retook Florida. The reason is that the US could not exercise any jurisdiction over anybody in Florida while it was held by an enemy occupying force. The persons there would temporarily be subject to Cuban authority. Unauthorized entry immigrants are different from those other categories because they are still subject to the jurisdiction of the US. If they were not, then they could not be arrested, prosecuted, deported, etc. There is also a dissent. Read it, too. It is basically, in plain English, those damn Chinese are not capable of being assimilated here.
