Iceng mounts are very nice and well made, Iceng did all my rebarrelling and accurizing work as well. Would definitely recommend, the team have always been super friendly and always up for a yarn. Will be seeing them very soon to have my bottom metal cerakoted.

I think the time difference is like +14hrs or something.
My one customer in Aust. is +15 hours.

I accidently one time called him and wasn't even thinking about the time difference and called him at like 1am his time. Woke him up.... as he picked up the phone I said, "oooo shit... I'm sorry!" He said it's cool Frank.... I picked up so lets talk! I felt horrible!

Most of us are used to that. The amount of times ive had to wake up at 1am just to ring USA is depressing.

Also, flying to US from AU. I land about 2hr after I take off. Leave at 6am, land at 8am same day. Flight home, a whole day is completely gone. Time zones are fun.

Welcome to my daily existence! I don’t like saying I’m a pilot. More a time traveler 🤣

Sorry for the lack of communication. Had some personal stuff come up which took my attention over the holidays.

I'm back, and I'm sending 40 sets to black oxide hopefully tomorrow. Man it take a while to hand finish and inspect these. Came out real nice.

Also, 5 lefties for the people who are handicapped.

We need to get one or two over here to look it over to make sure it's all good. I asked about that a while back and was told it wasn't a problem. I have one of the first ones that where made. The distance between the front lug and back lug was to long. I had to remachine it in order to make it fit. Also the width of the back lug was too wide as well. I tried the mount I have on two different receivers. One machined by GAP for my M40A1 build and a factory clip slotted 40x. With out fixing the lug dimensions it wouldn't fit on either one. Once I fixed the lug dimensions it fit both receivers really nice but one receiver only 1 screw hole of the base lined up with the scope base holes in the receiver. In the other receiver the back two screw holes lined up but the front two neither screw would go in. So the dimensions and tolerances of the screw holes would need to be checked and verified that these will work as well. I hadn't heard anything in a while so.....

I would be interested in one because I actually have 2 original mounts. It would be neat to get one of these in my hand and then post pics of it side by side with a real one.

From what I see it looks pretty good.

@Frank Green still planning on sending you a sample with the revisions you requested. They have all been done to the dimension adjustments you gave me.

The original (real or fake) mount I sampled had a wider base at the rear, and I guess so it can be made to an exact fit on your receiver clip slot. Yes it would be nice to have everything within a tolerance spec for every part between every mating surface, however some things are out of our control, an example being one receiver to another that only one screw would fit on one, and the other had 2. This difference between receivers is hard to over come from a "one size fits all", however it is possible to make things fit with some basic machining and adjusting to make it sit perfect.

Frank, I know we communicated before and I would be interested in purchasing one once you have reviewed them. I currently have a repo mount by on my GAP built m40a1 made by another source (who we all have heard of that source and the issues) would like to get one that is an exact visual repo and I have confidence in with a high round count. Thanks. Mike
