I disagree, I think I prefer the chassis styling and the paint scheme of the new one. Looks very niceI look at the picture with the stock and the ones with the chassis. It looks so much better with the stock but I'd rather keep chassis for whatever reason.
Man!!! You should see it in person. I was just admiring it a few minutes ago. The picture don't it justice lol. I went all out on the paint splatters but it came out looking good haha.I disagree, I think I prefer the chassis styling and the paint scheme of the new one. Looks very nice
Let me know when you list it.It's just been sitting unused for a few years now. I need some glass for my other SPR so I'm thinking about listing it and a few other items.

Oh man, that'd be sweet. I've been looking but i can't even find a website for OPS.I'd try to find the titanium Ops2 rail from the A3g, EGW do make a pic rail too but unsure on quality
Is that chassis currently being produced?I decided to paint mine today. Quick Lil job, nothing too extravagant.
I had the barelled action painted from when I painted it in the old stock.
I took it out of the stock a few years back and put it in the mdt chassis. Today I said fuck it and painted the chassis as well...

@308pirate do I still hold the krylon king of Chicago title?

Stick up some pics bloke, the SPRs had a few iterationsNeed help finding a bolt for fn spr a1. My sleeve seems to have broke. For instance the handle moves and the bolt doesn’t.
Oh man, there's no beating that classic dark grey/olive drab look.Picked this a3g up the other day. Gave her a good bath and mounted up some glass, and she didn't disappoint. It wants 175 gold medal, so it shall be done.View attachment 8613216View attachment 8613217

I tried getting that stock made as a replacement for mine but the company said they could do it, took my money, and dropped off the face of the earth. That was 3 years ago. Bummed because I got robbed but also it looks so cool.
Yeah, if McMillan did that please let us know.
Fun fact: They will only inlet the HTG and A5 now for the SPR action. No more A3 or A4. Plus, you're going to have to talk to them a couple of times during the inletting process because nobody there apparently used to work there when they did all of FNs SPRs.
^ But they did at least call me to ask about the inletting...way better than just cutting and delivering something that wouldn't fit.
Thought the spr was the same as the winchester action. This was from a couple months ago.

Nah wasn't McMillan, McMillan are legends. It was St Arbor Customs. September 2022 I placed my order. Now they won't even email me back. Not much to be done though as I'm in Australia. I took a chance and came up short.Wait, McMillan took your money and never delivered a stock??
That sucks man, I’m sorry to hear that.Nah wasn't McMillan, McMillan are legends. It was St Arbor Customs. September 2022 I placed my order. Now they won't even email me back. Not much to be done though as I'm in Australia. I took a chance and came up short.
all good man. You win some you lose some. The SPR is still the tits, and the A3G looks like perfection. That sucks man, I’m sorry to hear that.![]()
I'm a bit spoiled and do mainly custom stuff, but the spr a2 and a3g were the 2 I had to have. Now I have both!all good man. You win some you lose some. The SPR is still the tits, and the A3G looks like perfection.
Wished I could find one to build a 7mm-08 on
I am very tempted to buy that first link listing. If I wasn’t in the middle of trying to build my m70 I’d probably pull the trigger
Don't let that stop you! I'm a southpaw and I run all right handed bolts. You can actually run them faster and smoother than alot of righties! If I was not a lefty I would have one.

If it's not your thing I understand. I just know it works really well for me personally. But, I wouldn't keep it from buying something you want either! Before you go on farther check out the quotes in this post to see if you want to continue that practice.
BTW the summary that it brings up below isn't relavant to the linked post.

Tikka T3 Thread
I pretty much said all I have to say about it in the first post I made. There is nothing I would buy an Origin over a Tikka for. You get a complete rifle for the cost of an Origin action, and there's a great chance the factory tikka barrel will shoot sub moa with match grade factory ammo. If...www.snipershide.com
Thanks.It's on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18pwX6vzei/
I got the SPR for $904, figure 100 for the scope, 100 for the rings and bipod possibly. The bare rifle cost around $700 before tax, shipping and the GunBroker fee?
Other one with still doesn't have any bids yet. It's tempting, I like the DBM set up I had my first one into a 6.5x47 by moon.I got the SPR for $904, figure 100 for the scope, 100 for the rings and bipod possibly. The bare rifle cost around $700 before tax, shipping and the GunBroker fee?
The guy told me it came from an estate sale and didn't have a round count. When I get it, I will let you guys know what model of Nikon Scope was on it. I almost did the buy now but figured that I would wait it out.
On a side note, there was another SPR awhile back on GunBroker that went for around $975. Put them on your watchlist to kind of gauge the price so that you don't overpay. Take your time they do show up. My biggest problem is finding time to go and shoot.n
Those PBRs aren't CRF are they?
