Match organization

I find keeping all your stuff organized and in one place to be a big benefit. It's easy to lose stuff when moving from stage to stage, especially at smaller ranges where stages are tightly spaced and people have gear laying about everywhere. It also saves time which is best spent reviewing a stage and putting your game plan together.

I can't comment on tripod caddys as I don't own one but, I've been running one of these and a dewalt tool bag. I keep my ammo, dope cards, markers and a few other small items in the TrakcPak and it goes inside the dewalt bag along with mags and a schedium game changer. The ranges I shoot at mostly have benches or other surfaces where I can write out my dope cards/take notes in my match book. However if they didn't I could see the benefit of having the flat surface a tri-pod caddy provides.

I had a small backpack attached to my tripod. And a small clipboard.
It started to gather too much stuff. Now I use a small pouch for pens and dope cards with my clipboard.

Cole Tac 's organizer, although it isn't cheap at retail, and is mainly a glorified clip-board, is a great piece of kit if you can get one on sale.

I love having a place to set things. The Tripod Hammock “Junk Drawer” from Ten21 Tactical is fantastic. Even works on inverted tripods.

I don't think there necessary. Can be nice. I run everything i need in a belt and assault pack.

Pouch for dope cards, pens, markers, tape.
Pouch for spare mag, gamer plate, brass catcher.
Pouch for snacks, gloves, handwarmers.
Pouch for kestrel.
Then when it's time to move stages I just clip my belt on, put on back pack, sling rifle and grab tripod and go.
