It's refreshing to see such a unique left-handed M40A1 style build, thank you for posting it! Even though it's obviously not clone correct, it's still a very unique and respectful build that captures the spirit of the M40A1 while making it useful for lefties. I like this a lot, it's good to change things up at times and just have fun with a build.A lot of money and time. And she may be fugly for the purests but she is a beauty to me!

Thank you! I tried to have it as clone correct as possible with the exception of being left handed. It was definitely a fun project! Although the scope and mount were a pain. The scope mount is from TBA. Seems to be holding up just fine. It's refreshing to see such a unique left-handed M40A1 style build, thank you for posting it! What are these from? Maybe m40a3?? I have several sets of low serial numbered usmc issued rings with simrad caps that came with unertl cmp auction scopes. The rings and simrads were pulled off and the scopes were the used on m40a1 builds. The simads and rings were all painted up and I don't want to go scraping looking for numbers. ThanksIf anyone has one or a lead I’m searching for 2 of these B-630 simrad caps

It works. I built one 10 years ago.Hey folks, not too sure where to ask this. But i have an idea for a clone-ish build. An M40A5 but in 300wm. Would the surefire muzzle break handle 300wm?? I don’t see why not, but before spending money i figure id ask.
Thanks!
