Another win.... Modelo sales dropping for first time in a decade...

I was at a pool party and some Mexican wife noticed me drinking Modelo and said 'Ah, you're drinking Modelo!'

I thought, 'Since you made a point to comment, not anymore, Lupe.' and switched to Budweiser.

Budweiser wasn't a bad beer, actually, but their woke management ruined it.

I don't know why Modelo sales dropped unless Americans are fed up with the illegal alien thing, just like Budweiser's sales tanked after their woke tranny ploy.

Budweiser was the leading beer manufacturer but their red-blooded American customers don't like being played and loading on the tranny train willingly.

The only ones still buying Bud-light besides old Democrat weirdos are the illegals. Mexicans don't buy Modelo. Stand in line in any convenience store behind an illegal and you'll notice the twelve pack is Budweiser. Look at the construction debri along with household garbage dumped on some backroad and you'll only see Budweiser bottles.

Mexico has a proud beer brewing tradition that dates back at least to Germans that settled there in the 19th century.

Budweiser, on the other hand, has been crap beer at least since the grain rationing of WWII forced the substitution of rice for barley.

I actually don’t mind Modelo. Is there better? Of course, but for a summertime beer, it’s easy drinking. This is coming from a Belgian beer guy! And don’t lie, you took the Mexican wife behind the shed and banged her didn’t you?

Anheuser-Busch InBev owns modelo(and bud)

I quit drinkin' so my dog is out of the hunt and on the sidelines. But..........

Modelo was the beer that many of the people that got pissed off at budweiser gravitated towards. Myself included. I thought Modelo was reasonably good beer. Much happier about spending my money on Modelo than budweiser.

I come from a part of the country where there are a lot of Craft Beers. So many so, that there are a lot of shit Craft Beers to have to navigate around, over, or under.

The Easy button is Belgian Beers. ;) (y)

Imported Mexican beer is the best beer. But Mexicans here, especially the illegals, aren't going to pay the extra money for it. Thats for the yuppy progressives that wear their Cancun t-shirts.

To Mexicans here in the U.S., buying Modelo and Dos Equis would be like buying Heineken or Stella Artois, empties you won't see in their roadside garbage. I doubt most Mexicans here would even drink a Tecate if it were next to a Budweiser.

In California, modelo is all the laborers would be drinking in the eastern desert of the state, and Tecate in Long Beach and San Diego.

Ironically, when I would go wheeling on some of the big jeep trails out yonder, a lot of Mexican’s would be drinking Corona too while driving their rzr’s around.

Maybe there’s differences regionally.

Germans and Austrians established the Mexican brewing industry. Logos and styles are a reflection of that. Negra Modelo is a Vienna Lager, Tecate eagle logo, etc.

Not here. Mexicans here are frugile, to say the least. If they can't get it for free, they'll pay the lowest amount.

They do drink a shitload of Corona and so did I when I was on a big job. They know how to eat good, as in grilled carne and drink... a lot.

Yeah. Except no.
