I won’t partake in their scheme of control and Demise.XRP just hit $2.60
I know what you are getting at and why but we're already in the digital currency system, have been for decades, and it's going to end up almost all digital as time goes by.I won’t partake in their scheme of control and Demise.
Bogleheads really helped transform my investing approach after thedot com bust while I was licking my wounds . Actually rather back then it was called the Vanguard Diehards Forum. A ton of great wisdom there and as much a lesson in psychology in addition to a multitude of other great skill sets.Bogle fanboy here.
Getting rich slowly. Nearly time to set my tools down, but the nest egg will go on for 30 more years for us then another 10 for my heirs. Hopefully they can benefit a little and continue the generational wealth.
It’s simple but not easy
From the time of this post above XRP went down again below my buy-in so these funds were stagnant for months. Long story short I missed some great opportunities to sell and rebuy at a lower price. I learned that exchange companies will manipulate the price dips to go hugely below what the lowest price should logically be to set off everyone's stop losses thus triggering sell fees every time it happens. So I would either set my stop losses lower or since I'm constantly watching the market I mostly quit using the stop loss feature. Most of those Crypto's I bought at the recent crash went up, but faltered, and I sold them at a decent enough profit. I made around 20% off a relatively small investment of $8000. Then took all those funds and layered into XRP when it was lower at times so I have quite a bit now, as well as a fair amount of Bitcoin/BTC. XRP hit $2.42 today and BTC went to $104,000-ish so I've been pulling in some embarrassingly high profits(for me that is).
Wouldn't be surprised if XRP went to high 2.50's in the next few weeks. If XRP acquires Circle it could break the $3.40 record and then it'll likely go parabolic possibly 3x=ing what I have now before years end.
If not I'll have my stop loss set in case of bad news, let XRP settle, then buy in again. Why?? because Ripple/XRP is 1000 times faster and 1000 times cheaper than SWIFT is at digital funds transfer and more and more institutions are adopting it day by day.
I'm all excited today because XRP crypto went to a $3.30 high this morning!!
Edit, it's gone up 47% in the last 4-5 weeks.
I'm a late starter.I sent my parents information on Ripple and the steps to buy it on 05/17/2014.
This was after I purchased $1000 worth @ $0.006/token.
Yeah ole Trump is right when he recently said all he has to do is say things and that affects the markets. Those tariff's scareiff's freaked the world out thus dropping the price of XRP and a bunch of others, plus the Biden administration SEC case held it back a lot.Back to where it was 6 months ago
My friend bought XRP at 58 cents last November.
I'm a late starter.
Do you still have some XRP left, parents too, if so congrats?!
Darn well that's how it goes sometimes. If only!!!! Haha
I sat on them for a few years, made a little, and never looked back. My parents just thought it was silly.
Same with the early days of bitcoin in 2011/2012. I was mining them in pools with a couple of PCs I had built.
After a few months, with me being young and poor finishing school, I realized it wasn’t even going to pay for electricity and shut it all down.
Those are long gone too!
I’m sure everyone has a few stories like that.
I bough PLTR at the end of December for $81, bought more at $135. Hoping they get a few few more .mil and .gov contracts. I'm planning on holding onto it for a while, definately not a short term investment for me.PLTR
NVDA
Both hit new highs today.

$300 after a couple nice splits would be even nicer.$300 would be nice.

That's amazing! What's your share average?I had $52,821.71 in my IRA, rolled over from a 401k when I switched jobs. I asked a friend what I should buy and he gave me several suggestions, one of which was PLTR. Yes, diversification is smart, but I’m not, so I put it all in one stock. Current value is a bit over a million.
Lucky and dumb sometimes works.

PLTR
I'm a complete beginner. So, does it mean that it is high time to invest in XRP?Oh XRP went to $3.55 a couple hours ago but of course went back down a ways. I think that's a record so far this year.
I missed the ground floor on PLTR, saw an announcement about a .gov contract and put $50k in NVDA a few years ago before the split ... $300k+ now.

in it at $33.36. I’m pretty pleased.
That's awesome.$7.77

I was thinking it must have been something like that. I did this, and then, like a moron, didn't buy any in single digits and just bought a few more in the teens. Boy, was that not the best trading I've done.$7.77

My conservative side says no on PLTR on the value side but the steady cash flow from 401ks will continue pump it like everything else.hindsight is 20/20.
Now, find a similar pattern and similar thesis to PLTR, and invest there.
I bought Palantir a year or so ago at $26. Thought of taking some profit at $120 but still riding the wave.My conservative side says no on PLTR on the value side but the steady cash flow from 401ks will continue pump it like everything else.
The gambler in me grabbed some worthless doge the other day. Will flip it soon and throw that cash at XRP and a couple others in that side of crypto. Processing crypto groups should have some good flips within the next year. This administration seems to be working in the XRPs of the worlds favor.
Seems everything is up today so I wouldn't invest right now. August 1st is supposed to be a window when it's a decent time to buy because of the Tarrifs scare. Trump is tricky though and sometimes changes dates. Basically wait for the next dip which is what I've been doing.I'm a complete beginner. So, does it mean that it is high time to invest in XRP?
