The latest build here at Casa de Squalor...

Anderson lower w/PSA parts kit, LaRue MBT, 2 stage trigger, PSA upper w/18" SS bbl chambered in .223 Wylde. Got it on paper last weekend & then was bangin' steels at 500 yds later that day. Think I'm gonna like it.

Upper is in .223Rem and was built bu 6mmar.com using a heavy billet receiver, Krieger 1:7.77" barrel. Geissele HiSpeed National Match trigger, Vortex Viper PA, Liberty Mystic can. With the stock full of lead, it weighs about 18#. Several times I've lined up a steel @ 400 or 500 yards, carefully turn to talk to a buddy, ask them to hold, squeeze the shot, and hit. All while looking at them.

Oberland Arms .223 Vortex PST 4-16 in a Vortex mount. Seekins adj, gas block and Seekins Keymod rail. Haven´t got the $$$ to upgrade the trigger just now, but that´s next.IMG_1506.jpg

3-Gun rig just finished built around a PROOF Research 18" CFW barrel. Uses about every titanium part V Seven makes.

Mk12Mod1. Built in 2005. The only thing that has changed from the day it was built is the Troy buis( I liked the HK style front and don't have the heart to cut the riser to drop the rear down) and the ARMS rail so I could keep the stock collapsed in the case and come out with proper eye relief. MSTN6 put my upper together. The rest is my fault.

Older pic of my duty-grade HD rifle. LMT MRP 16". I've since returned to factory fixed irons with the Eotech, ALG ACT trigger, and added a Streamlight Protac2 on a Thorntail mount

How do you like the PROOF barrels? Any feedback on them?

I've built up half a dozen so far. I love working with them. They're the most exquisitely turned out AR' barrels you'll ever see with a borescope. The attention to detail is second to none.

So is the profit margin. I make more $$$ off a Noveske HFCL barrel that costs less than half as much!!!

The 3-gunners run them hard and are pleased with the combination of their amazing light weight combined with top shelf accuracy. I've gotten really good accuracy out of the two I've tested, too.

I have a 6.5 CM bolt gun in work with a PROOF Research CFW barrel, too. I guess I'm voting with my wallet here.

I am really interested in what you find out with your bolt gun. I have always been interested in them. Let me know!!!!!
