Well, I’m as English as a slice of roast beef liberally smothered in horseradish consumed with teeth that could eat an apple through a chain link fence.

I’ve recently been introduced to the delights of Sturgill Simpson, Waylon Jennings and David Allen Coe. So recommend me some more of your fine country music. I don’t want none of that country/rap crossover stuff either. Nor do I want to see Kenny Chesney singing about how his tractors get him laid.

Post your best country videos!

The top of my all time list George Strait gonna see him in Nov in Atlanta....almost 30 years b/t shows! Even if you don't know his name I'd be shocked if you listened to his hits and didn't know a few of them.

Kinda reminds me of the time I spent a n Cape Cod, prior to having a fist fight in Hyannis when I foolishly thought I was in a Red state. Man, things were so sweet until I got fucked up.

If you like banjos, try some Bluegrass

Bill Monroe
Jim and Jesse

The Seldom Scene...unfortunately the singer, John Duffy passed a while back but here they are in their glory, one of my all time favorite songs.

This is exactly the kinda shit I want! Maybe I shouldn’t have said country, show me the weirdest redneck shit you have. Some great redheads in there too.
She is awesome-the whole band is. Check them out-they are still around these days I believe. SCOTS. They make me laugh to this day with their songs, but more importantly, they are a great band.

Love it mate, it’s like Captain Sensible from The Damned went all Rockabilly
Don't recall the whole story now-that was some time ago, but I do believe they were a college band out of NC maybe UNC. In any event-yeah, it was kinda like B52's met Rockabilly.

All their stuff is great IMO-but like art or whatever, beauty in the eye of the beholder. Makes sense or not. I smelled what you were steppin' in with that video you posted. Not everyone's cup o' tea, but made me laugh no end.

Cheers.
