In a press conference today, Governor Hochul confirmed that she would sign an executive order giving her the emergency power to deploy the National Guard to cover staffing shortages caused by the midnight deadline for anyone who remains unvaccinated in violation of her state's coronavirus vaccine mandate.
The New York National Guard division has approximately 5,500 total Soldiers to serve New York.
My simple question is what is more worrisome - a fully staffed hospital 84% vaccinated with everyone masked and tested quickly when symptoms appear, or an understaffed hospital back-filled with untrained National Guardsmen (who may or may not be vaccinated btw as their deadline to be vaccinated or fired is December 15.)

So, replace highly experienced RNs who can manage 10 drips, advanced vent settings or echmo with a Nat guard nurse? Nat guard are great, good to medevac a gunshot, but not who you want to deal with complicated medical issues.
Also they use the same guard to protect and fence in the ruling class elites in DC from the people.
