    Re: 7 wsm from 7 mag? OK, SSS just emailed me and said they could not do the conversion. He said he would run out of threads. Any one done this conversion and ran out of threads? I think they are just trying to get me to buy a new barrel because they just happen to have 1 in stock.

    Re: 7 wsm from 7 mag? Tomcat Thanks for the info. The action is from the rem mag and on the new barrel i had the throat cut an extra .25" and I seat the bullets out that far. That's why i went with the long action and i haven't had any feed problems yet. Wild bill Thanks for the advise...

    Re: Deeper neck? Ok, I added a .25" to the throat on my 7mm wsm. Want to shoot either the 168 or 180 grain berger and also the hornady v-max and sst. I don't think i could seat the 120 v-max all the way out, but i guess i'll find out how they shoot.

    Hey guys, I was wondering about shooting different weight bullets from the same gun. The manuals list different C.O.L.'s for the different bullets. I have a custom douglas barrel and usually shoot 168 gr bergers. I seat them right on the rifling as berger recomended and I get excellent groups...
