Anybody put an ARCA rail on a Cadex chassis?

If you’re interested, here are pics of how it is on the chassis. This is a comp forend. I fit a “small” section of Cadex rail up front, but I had to cut the end section off. If the RRS BTC-Pro clamps ever come off back order, I’ll be able to use the bipod all the way across. You can see here...

Help deciding on a mount and scope level

Accuracy 1st levels are cool. I appreciate that they are graduated so you can put a specific amount of cant in if you want. Plus, they have a compartment so you can put a tritium tube next to the level if you want it illuminated.

    Harris vs Atlas?

I’ve got an Atlas V8 and I can tell you that I like it, but I hate that the legs roll. I’m not sure if there was some specific reason they made it that way, but I haven’t heard of anyone who likes it. This effectively makes loading the bipod on a smooth surface impossible. By the way, if anyone...

Anybody put an ARCA rail on a Cadex chassis?

I ended up getting the HRD Gear rail and it definitely works! The 11” would fit on the comp forend. The 9” fits, and I might slide it all the way to the receiver and leave a short picatinny section on the very front for the bipod.

    6xc vs 6mm Creedmoore

Thanks for the response! I think I’m still wanting the large primers. Have you run the SMK 110’s? I’m definitely liking the lower powder numbers you’re posting (I’m running 47 grains of Varget per shot right now). Definitely a TON of people using the H4350, do you use any other powders?

    6xc vs 6mm Creedmoore

Ok, I know, I know..... however, it’s Father’s Day and everybody loves new threads. I’m looking to move from 308 to 6mm this next year in PRS style matches, and I’m hoping to get some some input. Ive read threads until my eyeballs are bleeding and I’ve narrowed it down to the XC and Creedmoor...

Anybody put an ARCA rail on a Cadex chassis?

Did they say that they have hardware to fit Cadex, specifically? I see on the website they don’t mention Cadex but ask you to call to see if it will fit your application.

Anybody put an ARCA rail on a Cadex chassis?

Digging the compass embedded in the rail! Actually looks pretty sweet. Pretty cheap price.... how’s the quality?

Anybody put an ARCA rail on a Cadex chassis?

Will do, thanks! I see HRD gear may have something as well..... I’m suprised Cadex hasn’t made a rail yet. That would be TOO convenient (and probably too expensive)!

Anybody put an ARCA rail on a Cadex chassis?

I’m thinking about making the change, but haven’t really seen any cadex’s With them. Any suggestions?

    BallisticsARC weather

It took a good 4-5 minutes for it to catch up to the correct Density Altitude, but the other readings were pretty fast. I think I heard someone say the DA thing is the same with Kestrels, is that true?

    BallisticsARC weather

Yeah, that would be too awesome if it could connect like that. I suppose that headphone jacks are only equipped for one way info transfer (I hope I’m wrong). If they could sell another attachment that goes into the power cord slot, I’m sure people would buy it if it gives you non-blue tooth...

    BallisticsARC weather

I ended up getting the green “precision shooting” one, and used it during a match this last weekend. Worked like a charm! I only turned on my blue tooth every time I needed a reading, so it didn’t end up eating my battery on my phone too bad. I didn’t have any connectivity problems during the...

Movie Theater Event Horizon, so good!

I think what made this one so scary is that you only get glimpses of the stuff that went on. It left a lot to the imagination.

Movie Theater Event Horizon, so good!

Ok, this movie friggin’ rocks! I watched it again through Amazon for the first tim in, like, 8 years, and it still holds up. A pretty smart horror movie in space! If you like horror, Sci-Fi, Laurence Fishburn, this is your flick!

Movie Theater Turbo Kid on amazon

I did watch this one a while back. Kinda charming in an 80’s type of way. I’m not sure I’d watch it again, though. I think you could make some kind of drinking game out of it!

    Movie Theater i cant wait!.......SUPER TROOPERS 2

I’m torn on if I want to watch this one or not. I love that first movie... so many sequels never capture what made the first one so great!

Advanced Marksmanship Please school me on QUICK wind reading (match skillz)

Wow, thanks for all the info, everybody! I really appreciate the time you’re taking to detail how you’re approaching your wind reading/ stage preparation. I shot a match yesterday, but the wind wasn’t a huge factor. I did memorize some wind estimates like described above and mentally practiced...
