Rifle Scopes Vortex Strike eagle Issue

I had a Nightforce 4-16 ATACR that did the same thing, at max mag you could see the reticle shift. I called and they told me it was a non-issue and should result in no POI shift. I'm assuming that the picture must also shift with the reticle, but I could not perceive that.

223 Redding Seating Die Bottoming Out

Just got off the phone with Redding, they're sending me a seating stem with a smaller hole so it will engage the bullets sooner. Hopefully that will work out. -Kirby

223 Redding Seating Die Bottoming Out

Cases are all trimmed +/- 0.001 on a Giraud. I've experimented with backing it off the minimum amount to get the desired seating depths, and its getting close, or right at max oal with the two bullet types I have. -Kirby

223 Redding Seating Die Bottoming Out

using a Dillon 550, cases are trimmed to 1.750". If I turn the body of the die down any further it begins to crimp the neck. No O-Ring, or any other shim under the lock ring. My RCBS seating die will essentially push a bullet all the way into an empty case by comparison.

223 Redding Seating Die Bottoming Out

I'm using a standard 223 Redding seating die, turning it down until I feel the crimp touch the mouth of the case, then backing it out 1/4-1/2 a turn. I've got the seating stem bottomed out and it barely makes it to 2.260 OAL with a 75 BTHP, and doesn't quite get to 2.220 with a 55 FMJ. Any...

    Sako TRG / TRG-S M995 Thread **Sticky??**

Looks identical to my TRG-22 bolt, just shorter, although I'm not sure if they are completely compatible. I know that the rest of the parts seem to be drying up as I have been looking for a 30-06 magazine for a while.

    Sako TRG / TRG-S M995 Thread **Sticky??**

Parts for the m995's seem to be drying up. The S20 seems to be the modern incarnation of the rifle, I've certainly got my eye on them.

30-06 RCBS Competition Seating Dies on Progressive

I see that you can't use the RCBS competition dies on a progressive press, is it only because of the extended shell holders that are needed with shorter rounds? Since the 30-06 uses a standard shell holder would it be compatible with a Dillon 550? Thanks! -Kirby

RCBS Gold Medal 308 FL Bushing Die

Recently picked up an RCBS Gold Metal FL Bushing Die. Will it act as a FL "shoulder bump" die without a bushing installed? Was thinking about using it in conjunction with a lee collet die to control neck tension, or maybe even getting a smaller bushing and using a mandrel to size the necks...

Reloading For The AR-15: The Accuracy Node Detection Technique

Your method of overlaying groups to find an accuracy node is pretty neat, I thought about doing the same to find a standard deviation node with a chronograph, although I am unsure of how well it will work. something like this, I just used some data I had saved, but I figure it might be more...
