    .308 PPV ammo, Nemesis Vanquish

    I really like the Hornady Amax 168gr offerings... shoots better than FGMM in my rifle. 1/2 MOA or better. FGMM is more affordable, but after I started reloading I stuck with the 168gr AMAX bullet as the BC is better than the Sierra 168.

    Good call on the primers from Winchester, I didn’t know that… I suspect the cup of the brass may have developed a small crease from the seating operation giving the gas a path of least resistance. At least mechanically that seems like a plausible way of getting into a situation like that...

    + 1 on feeler gauges... get 2 sets. rail is flat and so is the bottom of the scope body. Similar to what you would do with the SPUHR kit, shim it level.

    My experiences are about the same as yours. I have the 6-24x and in the 12x to 16x range is very clear and crisp... once you start moving to the 20-24x area it does get foggier, but its still completely usable.
