    What’s the best AI mag extension?

    I ended up with a Seekins attached to a Accurate Mag that I bought off the PX here. The last Accurate mag I had didn't function very well but I ran this with 12 and 13 rounds during a local match and it performed better than my AI mags. Wished I'd performed as well as it did.

    Anyone use Aluma Hyde II?

    I used the mat black on a 1911 slide and cooked it in a toaster oven. It came out nice. As for durability, it ain’t Cerakote but it’s at least as durable as bluing. If I was buying barrels in the white then it’s what I’d use.

    I'd rather have a good SFP for .22 matches than a cheap FFP. I rarely see impacts in the dirt from misses in .22 matches so making corrections with your reticle isn't as likely IMO. And you can still use your reticle for corrections if your scope is on full power. I don't know anything about...

    Mandrel Neck Sizing Brass

    I've been using a 21st Century TiN turning mandrel in a expander die body. I've taken the expander button out of my sizing die and just resize the body then run the case through the expander die with the turning mandrel. That gives me .002 neck tension and has worked very well.

    Actually a lot of times it isn’t obvious until you’re trying to pick out a target that is hard to see or Cranking the power up to max and watching your view get blurry. Most of the time glass isn’t as important as repeatability.

    I’ve got a gen I Cronus and a Gen II Razor. Both will work well shooting steel but where you’ll see the benefits of the better scope and better glass is when shooting on a cloudy day and when the paint gets knocked off of the 1 moa or less targets. There are times when better glass is useful.
