    New Atlas bipod too stiff?

I recently picked one up too...my experience was only a few shots and it was loose...I almost feel like the opposite is true and can't get it tghtened enough to keep it from canting or rotating when I load it (probably my lack of experience with it)....I still love it, it is a great bipod

Movie Theater The newest Dark Knight actor?

Doesn't make it a lot better, but the article I read said he's cast as Batman for the second Man of Steel movie, not a continuation of Nolan's Batman series...it said Nolan wasn't doing a "fourth movie in the franchise", but I don't see that ruling out a Robin movie w/Levitt though that...

Gunsmithing How does Cerakote hold up on the bolt?

I had my bolt cerakoted. I do my best to keep some CLP on it, but when it isn't oiled up, I think you can feel a little extra friction. It is mainly wearing off on the lugs of mine.

UPS lost my shipment of Varget.....yeah right!

Sucks about your powder. Hopefully it gets made right and you don't have to wait a long time to see some powder. To avoid the drivers just dropping my expensive packages on the front porch and running, I signed up for a ups my choice account. Doesn't cost you anything and you can use the...

    Midway product notification

ditto, I don't even bother signing up for notices w/Midway anymore (more often than not, for me, I've never rec'd an 'in stock' email from them).... I've recently started to use a browser plugin to monitor the pages and alert me of changes, the midway pages take a little extra finagling to work...

    Trimming the Feed Ramp?

I have the same issue in my 700...the mags (which are Alpha Type 4s) are very tight (no slop/play at all) in my Mcrees. I was planning myself to look into doing it...the Alpha website states you might need to do it w/their mags, since they don't have a spacer plate and let you load longer OALs...

.300 WSM Accurate or Alpha mags in a short action AICS?

I use the Alpha mags in my Mcrees chassis. So, your mileage may vary on an actual chassis from AICS, but thought I'd include my experience anyhow.... The two I have are super tight (their website used to say that they will be tight/have no play/etc, but I can't find it on there now). I went...

    300wsm/168a max

Re: 300wsm/168a max 63gr IMR 4007 SSC has worked very well for me in the past (worked up using the method described here on the forums) with the 168gr a-max. I've had a hard time finding 4007 locally where I live now, so I've been playing w/IMR 4350. 65.5gr of 4350 has looked promising, but...
