    Swfa normally puts all ss scopes on sale around tax day and black friday and If I remember correctly it's usually 20-25 percent off. If you can I would wait a couple of weeks.

    Strangely enough, I have bc caps on everything I own and have never had one break but I know it's just a matter of time. I'm pretty good at breaking things too. Forgot about the aadmount. Only thing about the tenabraex is they look kind of large on the eyepiece.

    I have a pmii arriving hopefully Monday. I understand they come with Butler creek caps but are tenabraex or aadland the best caps? On the tenabraex the od of the objective cover looks to be the same as the scopes obj. od, is this correct? If so it would be an advantage.

    I had one and replaced it with a 30-06. 06 is more versatile imo. Doubt I'd ever go back. Bullets choices for 270 are slim compared to 6.5, 7 and 7.62mm.
