Which Phone; I pod or Android?

I recently updated to a smart phone and went with an iPhone. The main reason that I went with it over an Android is the FLIR One attatchment is going to be available for the iPhone first and I'm a impatient guy. Introducing the FLIR ONE - Soldier Systems Daily

    Vest for AR magazines?

I have one of these Product Selection: #MRC-003, 5.56 Hybrid Chest Rig ATS TACTICAL GEAR "Outfitting the World's Finest Warriors" from ATS Tactical. It is extremely well made and very functional. Although it wouldn't be considered a micro-rig, it is lightweight and very low profile.

Molle zip up case for tripod and spotter

Center Mass has a MOLLE tripod case that I've been considering. Not sure where to ger a MOLLE case for a spotting scope. Most tactical nylon manufacturers offer utility pouches in various sizes. I suggest that you take measurements of your scope and look at several different manufacturers...

    Speical Operations Equiptment

All of John's gear that I own, or have used, is good to go. Top notch materials and workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to use any of his gear in a life threatening situation. Give the collars a try, you have nothing to loose. I think that you will be pleasantly surprised.

    rain gear

I got a Marmot Precip jacket on sale at Campmor about two years ago and it is the lightest, most packable rain jacket I've ever owned. It breathes well and keeps the elements out. Best $70 I've spent in a long time.

    grippod question

How hard are you going to be on your AR? If it's going to see hard use such as training classes, go with a Grip Pod. Even they don't stand up well to truly hard use.

LBT 6094A or TYR BPC/GPC or PICO?

I have the LBT 6094A, a PIG from SKD tactical, and a pc (forgot the name) from Beez Combat Systems. While the LBT is a quality product and is comfortable, I prefer the PIG. The PIG fits me well (6'2", 200 lbs) and is the most comfortable of the three. It carries the plates high to protect vital...

What's in a Snipers Back Pack???

I don't know if this is the stool that he had or not but the Walkstool from Sweden is a sweet little stool. It folds up into a very small package and is very lightweight. It would easily fit into a pack or you could get the optional carry case and attatch it to a pack. Outdoor Tactical...

    Head Set HELP

I use a Motorola HT 1000 which is readily available on eBay for around $50. Attatched to it, I have the Peltor Comtac II headset. For the HT 1000 to work with the Comtac II, you have to use the Peltor PTT #FL5018-02. I have the Comtacs attatched to my Ops Core FAST helmet via rail adaptors. If...
