Just tell the judge that TR are banned from the hide for talking about religion AND politics on the bolt action forum.

Case dismissed.

More importantly, as member of this forum can I have a share of the winnings from the counter-suit?

Assault??? Personal jurisdiction? It is really a sad state of affairs when douchebags like Rooney at TR and that schmuck at Smith Enterprises attempt to expand personal jurisdiction to assine levels all because someone kicked a little sand in their cyberpussies. What a fine couple of representatives of the firearms industry. I am picturing two giant Keystone cans heading for Florida and Arizona as we speak.

That is a truly sad statement from TR and co. He could truly have avoided all this had he spent his time making quality product and customer service. Much cheaper in the long run.

Assenine, grasping at straws, desperate... All come to mind. I would imagine if they ran a tighter ship and put out better work then they wouldn't have to worry about people posting about terrible experiences over the Internet trying to warn others. Not to mention the price they ask for their rifles. Seems like a circus over there, an expensive one to go that seemingly leaves an "I smell shit" look on your face.

Make the Tactical Rifles threads a sticky to say fuck you to that douchenozzle!
.
If Frank sets up a PayPal account or even use the SH online store, Many of us would donate towards legal fee's.

What exactly is the suit over, not the grounds, but what seems to be the problem? I've always thought that TR's accuracy claims were a little on the exaggerated side, as 1/4MOA is a pretty strong claim indeed! With these type of numbers (if real) I would have expected to see TR's name in the list of "what the pros use" many times, many-many times, but I didn't, enough said.

Better yet we should all order some sick rifles from them and show off some of that build quality. You know, those amazing inletting and bedding jobs they are famous for providing.

Maybe this will be what puts em out of business. I sure hope so, I've only seen one rifle from them that I felt safe to fire. And I've seen 4-5 others at the range. Those nice ads are the only reason their still in business. Why don't gap, Robert Gradous, KMW, and surgeon have ads? THeir products sell themselves. Give me a slingshot with KMW on it and I will trust it!!!!

All the time people ask why posts are edited and why they can't come on here and go after companies who they believe offered up bad service. This is one reason why, because some companies will use these customer's reviews for litigation against us.

We have been threatened with this type of litigation before and I am sure we will be threatened again. Even TR has used their attorney's to pressure us to remove negative reviews of their rifles.

If you value the ability to speak the truth about the service and products provided to you by companies, you should look really hard at the current climate. Smith Enterprise, now here with Tactical Rifles.

They have not served us, I had no idea this was filed until another attorney contacted me to help out. So the process is just beginning.

It's not an attack against Marc or Me, it's against you guys the end user. We are just the easier target. They are saying to you, "Do not question our product or service in public" we will sue you if you do.

The more you realize behind the scenes this happens, and that if it was easier they would chasing down the individual poster, the more you'll understand why certain topics are taboo.

Its about you...

There have been suits against Angie's List and Yelp and in both cases, the site owner was protected.

It also says we don't have give the company a voice to rebut.

And there is the issue in FLA regarding jurisdiction but we'll let the attorney's discuss that.

Pretty sure Dave Rooney was free to come here and 'rebut' the videographic evidence of his firm's work...

...but instead of coming, saying his peace and taking his lumps...shills came.

Wow, I just watched the "bad out of the box" video and what a junk gun. I feel sorry for guys who have been taken by these guys. If you guys need any money for legal fees post a link on here, I'll drop some cash.

This is going to be interesting to watch as it unfolds. They are one company, and we are an entire internet community. There is allot of power in that. I have seen this on other boards where everybodies effort was focused on unmasking some military posers/ stolen valor and it was incredible the amount of information/action that was achieved among that group.

I would surely hope that SnipersHide, LLC and Mr. Soulie is reimbursed by TR for legal fees due to a frivolous lawsuit.
I work for a construction company that has been in a few lawsuits (typically over non-payment of contract balances or change order work) and each were structured to where the "losing" party had to pay not only the claim, but also the "winning" party's legal fee burden.

Regardless of whether those fees are $7,500 or $750,000, TR should be responsible for causing the prevailing party financial loss.

Frank,
While I'm sorry that you have to put up with situations such as this, I am not sorry that you have a Constitution and a Bill Of Rights.

Now send him Bill Of Logic! And as the "Law Abiding Citizen" so eloquently stated, "My good man, make sure to put down 30% for yourself."

Spoke with a FLA attorney this morning, gonna cost about $7500 to defend this... to start.

So we'll see what we can do from there. I am not gonna let it go, gonna send that message right back.

Send the message right back, that is the way to do it. Tactical Rifles will find out how stupid it is to start a loosing battle. I am sure plenty of SH members will be donating to the legal defense fund. This is the worst PR they could possibly come up with.

Words are wind, gents. Let's make sure we support Frank and Marc's defense funds with whatever we can spare. There's so damn many of us at this point that a little from everyone would make for an incredible pot from which the defendants can pull as the litigation goes forward.

IMO this isn't going anywhere although i sent a couple bucks. It a stupid attempt at a shakedown. The lawyers that the plaintiffs have retained have failed to council Ill-advised Rifles that the defendants could submit hours and hours of complaints of their work.

That pictures of the harbor freight drill press that they use to drill sight bases could be submitted as evidence.

Use the defense fund money to benefit vets after the claim is withdrawn and the plaintiffs pay costs.

Where is that pic?

Thats a frivolous example of what well funded council can dredge up. Let alone a couple hundred individuals on a site like this all submitting concrete examples of bad service, poor workmanship, etc.

Lawyers would bill stupid amounts of money to ascertain the evidence that a site like this could gather in a week, for free.

How about all the complaints on the Florida Better Business Bureau's website about Tactical Rifles and their issues? Are they going to sue them too for all the reviews that posters have discussed about tactical rifles operations. The preponderance of the correspondence on Tactical rifles comes down to broken promises and poor craftsmanship. If he actually spent the money on better Gunsmiths and tightening up his own ship he may actually make it in the business world.
