    7.62-M1A FC brass

Yep BHA is made by Winchester. The FC brass I have won't be bothered with anymore until the BHA, Winchester Commercial, WCC, and Hornady brass I have craps out.

    7.62-M1A FC brass

I have some that I fired out of my M1A, cleaned, sized, trimmed, and reloaded with 168gr bullets over 41gr IMR-4895. Shot well out of my SPS Tac. It is thicker then Winchester brass, and does have crimped primers. So you will have to have some way of removing the crimp. Not sure about loose...

    (CLOSED) **ROUND3 !!** (100YARD+) , Bolt-Action, 6group, 30round SHOOTOUT!

Did a similar contest over on ar15.com. Had a decent session using a mix of FGMM and Hornady Steel Match. It's harder then most folks think to keep five or six groups of five shots all MOA on one target, in one session. Mine was an average of .881 MOA for the five groups of five. Not sure how...

    Winchester 308 commercial rifle brass.

Might try looking around for some once fired Black Hills Match brass (made by Winchester). It's very similar to the Winchester commercial stuff, just has crimped primers. I bought 150+ pieces online for $60. I only have one 50ct bag of Win brass left, should have bought more when Wally World...

    Accuracy, me or the rifle?

My feed lips on my SPS 308 were doing the same thing. Took one of my wife's Emory boards (nail file), and some fine sandpaper and ran it across them a few times when I had it out of the stock. Helped out a bunch.

    Krylon R700

Looks very nice. I have always liked the look of those fishnet jobs. I'm a Rust-Oleum man myself....Wally World doesn't seem to have the Krylon cammo colors anymore ;) Here is mine I did not to long ago.

    Accuracy, me or the rifle?

I would get more ammo and continue practicing/shooting. I don't have a .223, but in my .308 I brought 120 rounds with me on my initial outing with it. Everything from 168gr FGMM, AE 150gr/AE 168gr, Hornady Steel match. It gave me a chance to see how the gun shot, zero it, and get a feel for it...

Help with IMR 4064 and AMAX 168's

Just an FYI, those pages from the Hornady manual are from the "Service Rifle" section, which is right after the normal 308 Winchester section. But yes, there are no loads listed for IMR-4064 in the regular 308 section for 168gr bullets. IMR-4895 is listed as 43.3 Max though. Personally, I have...

    So much for Lapua brass

Same here, no Winchester 308 brass to be found. So I bought some BHA Match once fired brass on another forum. It is very similar to the one bag of commercial Winchester brass that I do have. The crimped primer pockets are a pain, but at least that's a one time operation.

Rem 700 SPS Tactical vs 700 SPS Tactical Limited question........

Not an AAC, just a regular SPS TAC 308, but I also like my B&C M40.

Any leads on well priced 168 Amax's?

Sportsman's Warehouse was the last place I saw a "single" 100ct box of 168gr A-Max. Bought them. They usually have the 178gr A-Max's in stock though.
