    257 Weatherby mag loads

Hey folks, just picked up a Vanguard S2 and was looking for guidance as far as loads go. I plan on running 115gr berger hunting vld's. I hear retumo and rl25 are good picks with federal 215 primers. Any particular 115 loads that you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Robert

Re: New Howa Looking good! I picked up a Vanguard S2 (as stated pretty much the same as yours) only because i liked its trigger more than the howa, plus i wanted 257 weatherby . Look at Nikon's yote special line of scopes i just put one on the vanguard and hasnt done me wrong yet.

    Ordering up a manners stock

Re: Ordering up a manners stock Thank you gents. Seeing as i can cancel that bottom metal order I think i will. I will pick up the mini chassis as its only adding .62 #. Plus i will be shedding weight in my scope choice. I do like thumb holes but i also like a traditional hunting stock (not...

    M17A1 Binos

My pops surprised me today with an early birthday gift. He gave me an old M17A1 binocular that he grabbed while still in the service. I see that they have a reticle in the left eye piece. The glass is in great shape as well as the rest of the unit. Can anyone give me a little info on these. My...

    308 win to much?

Re: 308 win to much? I might. I like to think I have decent positioning. Also I tend to get beat up a little more off the bench than in prone. I know that's pretty normal but after about 40 rounds of prone my shoulder is toast.
