I also posted this on my local forum. And if this isn't in the right place I will move it. But does anyone here live in the la area and own a aics (folder or not doesn't matter) that I can get behind an get a feel for. I've already gotten behind a mcree stock and liked it, but for the sake of making a good non biased decision I'd like to get a feel for an aics. If you do I can meet you at any local ranges.
Thank you all very much,
Rob

why don't you offer to buy the ammo for a range session? - pony up a little when asking for a favor from a stranger

Oops I though i put that in, I would pay for range fees and so long as its a relatively common caliber id buy a box of what ever you want to shoot. Thanks for catching that one George

Lazy i might have to pass that one up... as tempting as it would be to shoot it, my wallet would kill me

By the way i really have no intentions of putting rounds through someones gun. Id just like to get a feel for the stock weight, going prone, setting up on a bench, etc. But i do want to compensate you for allowing me to have some time just getting to know the stock.
Thanks again

Hi Rob,

I have a Remington 5R .308Win in an AICS chassis if you want to try it out. It might spoil you once you shoot it though "I've made a lot of special modifications myself." LOL! I'm in the L.A. area and shoot out at ASR when I can though I've been pretty busy lately. PM me if interested in meeting up at the range one day.

Cheers!
